Hazard 50 - Perry Central 38 - (14th Region Championship)

warmachine Wrote:Once again a pure sign of ignorance out of Kygurl. People at PCC are no more REDNECK than those up at HHS. Hazards not a big city. Its a little hole in the ground where a few people live. Most of your students and alumni live throughout the county. So stop acting like you are superior to county people. Theres REDNECKS from both places so stop trying to say the county people are stupid or something.

I wasnt calling anyone a redneck except for Mr Napier, you must not be reading my post correct.:p :p :p :p :p

Ok. I misunderstood your post. I just recall Hazards Pep Section screaming Central Rednecks or something at the game. I figured you were one of those people. Just because someone gets ****ed off and wants to fight, doenst make them a redneck. How would you like it if someone knocked you flat on your *** when you were not looking. Everyone knows Brotherton is a big Hazard supporter and thats fine. If he has problems with Randy he needs to meet him out off duty sometime. Randy would break him in half. But hey Brotherton is about 70. But anyway.

GO DAWGS

Good to see big Al go back into Perry and take them down. Congrats HHS goodluck at Rupp.

That 70 year old sure sent his but rolling last night. Way to go Brotherton! He certainly deserved it. No school official should be running their mouths at high school girls and hitting them. Randy Napier should have been taken to jail. As far as calling anybody redneck it was fitting for MR. Napier last night.

Blue-N-Gold Wrote:It was a shame the way Hazard's fans were treated. Some of the kids in the pep section had worked on a routine to perform at half-time. Then they announced that no one was allowed on the floor at half-time except cheerleaders. Anyone that came out on the floor would be escorted out. So at half-time Hazard's cheerleaders went on the floor on our end and the students were going to do their dance on the sideline. Several boys from PCC's pep section got up and started walking across the floor to Hazard's side. They were stopped at mid-court by the police and made to turn around. I'd like to know why they weren't escorted out like they had announced? Then some guy came running down to Hazard's pep section screaming and telling them to sit down then he either grabbed/hit a girl and then the police grabbed him.
It was also announced that we were not allowed to go onto the floor and congratulate our team after the game.
All I know is that Noone should be on the court but the players and cheerleaders.

It seems like fights break out at every game these days.

Officer Brotherton is a joke. To be honest the whole Hazard police department is. GO KSP. To call Randy a redneck is a joke, he is a great man and also maybe the best girl's coach in the state. As for Hazards fans, it was best that the cops grabbed PCC's boys before Hazards pep section lost a few to the hospital....:ChairHit: :ChairHit: :ChairHit:

As for the game, Coach Al Holland is the best coach around flat out, no matter what team he is coaching. He has a VERY talented and YOUNG team on his hands. Hazard will be a force for a couple years.

This game was closer then what the score shows, a questionable intentional foul then technical kinda pushed Perry back. But it was a great game and good luck HHS at state.

Congratrs Hazard.

Congrats Bulldogs!! Not at all surprised by this one!

Congrats to Hazard Bulldogs and Coach Big Alvin Holland. They are the best team in the 14th region and everyone should show them alot of support.

Randy has already issued a challenge to Brotherton up at the National Guard Armory this weekend at the MMA Fights in the cage. If the man has any sack at all, he will accept the challenge and do it in the ring. I'll put my money on Coach Napier. And for heavens sake theres no way in the world that Randy would hit a girl. NO WAY. So stop being jeolous of him for beating Hazards girls by 1000 points the past couple years. All this boils down to jeolousy. Randy this is probably the only way they will be able to beat you.

Coach Napier did in fact put his hands on a Hazard High School female student in the midst of the melee at the ballgame. It is a proven fact. I witness it as did several hundred other people who were sitting near the baseline of the Hazard pep section. He should be a man and own up to what he did instead of running and hiding and letting all these other posters come to his unwarrented defense. Unless it is in an instance of preventing injury, no teacher should ever put their hands on any student! Parents even have to give permission to the school to discipline a student when punishment is needed.

I realize this entire episode occurred during a period of high stress, but it all could have been prevented if the administrators of PCC would have acted as they threatened to do...allowing only ball players and cheerleaders to be on the actual gym floor during the game or intermissions. All others were supposed to be escorted out of the gym if they came onto the floor, and a large portion of the PCC pep section was well out onto the floor when Coach Napier raged into the Hazard pep section swinging his arms and giving orders. He also should have been escorted out because he was a spectator, not a participating coach, at the time this occurred.

Coach Napier should have been setting examples, not instigating potentially dangerous actions by imposing himself on Hazard's pep section. Our principal was on the baseline and closely monitoring all that went on. He instructed the students to not go on the floor and they followed his instructions. He should be commended for his actions, as well. We are proud of your devotion to our school and its students, Happy!!

Go Bulldogs!!

Why did he put his hands on her? Did she put her hands on him first. No kid has the right to touch a teacher. If so, if a teacher is threatened they can protect themselves. As long as Randy has been in the education business, I dont think he'd come over and push a kid just up and out of the blue. But he may of pushed her on accident or something. I dont see him delibertly just halling off and pushing her. He has never done that to any of his players and believe me, he has had some of the worst outlaws in Eastern Kentucky playing for him the past few years. If he can keep composed with them, I know he wouldnt push a kid he doesnt even know on purpose. I wonder if Randy is filing charges on the cop that tackled him? I heard there was damage done to his knee after the cop tackled him? And what about all the police brutality on the little 130 pound man at mid court? Huuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm. Strange, strange, events.

Only time will tell us the outcome of all these bizaar events that occurred that night. The tapes will eventually surface, as they have already been seen by the kids at the high school, and they apparently validated the claims made by the young girl. I wish no one any bad wishes, but I am sure there are several individuals who were involved in the episode that would love to be able to go back and change their actions.

As for the 130 pound man, had he not resisted the actions of the police to prevent him from further escalation, he would not have been harmed in any way. He simply refused to return to his seat and observe from afar as did hundreds of other people in the stands that night!

Please don't misunderstand...I am not passing judgement on anyone. I am simply making explanations to try to clarify previous posts.

LOL, you gotta be joking? If that is true tho. Go Coach Napier!!! Smile

I was at the game and saw the entire thing. The girl shuved Randy first, and he pushed her back. If a student hits/pushes a teacher then the teacher has a right to do the same.

He should not get into trouble for this.
GOOD LUCK RANDY

Randy ran over the the pep section like a raging bull and I guess he was just taken back before he did something he would have regreted. It looked to me as if he just lost his balance and fell on his back side. As for the other guy it looked like he as trying to fight the cops and he had no business out on the floor in the first place. That is just how I saw it!!
#48
that other guy that ran on to the court was just trying to stick up for Randy.

I just hope his knee is okay. Hope the cop has good insurance. I asked him how he was going to fight this Saturday since he is hurt and he simply stated he'd whip the cop standing on one leg. And anyone from the Hazard pep section can fight him next. Randy will just line them up and knockem down one by one.
#50
Somehow warmachine, I can't invision Randy, who is rapidly advancing into middle age with the middle age spread that comes along with it, being able to handle himself in a fight with anyone, let alone on one leg. Maybe he does retain some of his earlier pep and vigor...but it seems it only applies to young girls who he can push around.

Regardless of nething else Brotherton didnt push randy that hard, he just tripped over his own big feet. As far as Randy wanting to fight everybody and their great aunt at the armory is just an issue of foolish pride and him wanting to make up for the embarassment he caused himself by looking like an idiot at the game....if he does decide to be a redneck idiot and whoop all the cops at the armory---i hope he gets butt whooped. But i dont really care much, what happened happend and our students did nothing wrong, noone from perry should have crossed midcourt and we wouldnt have to worry about this....

This shows what kind of role model some people want for their children!!!Fighting doesnt help anything just makes you look immature!!!

Only the Strong Survive. Thats why Randy Napier is still dominating the 14th Region. Sometimes you gotta fight for what you believe in.
