Is Perry Central good enough to beat Breathitt County in the Region?
#1
This will probably be the championship game of the 14th region tournament I'd say. Will Seniors Feltner and Sturdivant be able to handle Breathitt this year? If I were betting on this game, I would have go with Breathitt right now by 7. What does everyone think?

And yeah I know Knott and Powell have a shot as well but PCC and BHS are the favorites.

I think it may happen it will be a heck of a ball game if these two meet up. I think if KCC and Breathitt get in the same bracket depending if each make region which should happen then PCC and Breathitt meet in the regional final. If that happens then PCC wins. However, IF PCC gets into the same bracket with either Breathitt or KCC then they will not make finals. And BC wins it all.

If Perry gets the right draw it may be possible, but I don't see it happening. All the girls want to do is party, they don't care about winning or losing games, they are just having fun and could care less. They got beat by a pitiful Betsy Lane team the other night and should be embarassed by that, but they could care less. Perry needs to get into gear if they want to go to Bowling Green, because this 14th region is a 1 horse race if they keep playing the way they have been. Breathitt is a great team and play well together, Coach Moore has her girls playing their best right now and will make a good run at the state tourney this year. PCC needs to focus on basketball if they want to even havea chance at the Lady Bobcats this year.

Simple answer NO Breathitt has so many more weapons than Perry and they are just and over all better team. Not to mention they wont have the home court advantage.

If these 2 teams meet I would give the edge to PCC. They have Sturdivant, McDonald's All-American and far as I know no one has yet to stop her from scoring. They also have Allison Feltner inside who can play, and a few role players. Plus the Shouse girl, I believe that's her name, for Breathitt doesn't look to score often. In this match-up I would say PCC.

Sturdivant is a fine player. If she'd played for Lex Catholic or another big time program, she'd have D1 written all over her. She's laid back for the past 4 years and hasnt worked hard at all but she hasnt had to. I'd like to of seen what she could of done if she would of worked hard and played for a top caliber team where she would have help. Best of luck to you Sturdi and hope you make it to state and prove me wrong. Go Dores.

I think PCC is the only team in the region that could beat Breathitt Co. but I dont think it will happen. I see Breathitt winning the region! JMO.

they may want to check sources because neither one is listed on the website as MCD's All Americans. To add to that no player in the state of Kentucky, sounds like they are filling peoples heads just as the Stepps like to falsley record stats lmao. Both are great players though.

Actually there was a list that came out with potential MAA's and she was on there along with Kayla Lowe from Pike Central and I think that there was one more girl from the mountains but I am not sure. There were very few represented from Eastern KY. Either way, I don't see them beating Breathitt. If the bobcats stay healthy they will win the region, IMO.

Heather just got nominated as a McDonalds All American Candidate. I wonder where she is going to be going to college next year? Anyone know who is after her? Im sure there are some colleges interested in her. What about the big Feltner girl, is she getting any looks?
