Just saw that the UK game vs. South Carolina is going to be broadcast on RAYCOM.
One question: what the **** is RAYCOM?
It sounds like some new company that makes laser ray-guns or something.
How is a regular person supposed to watch this game?

Haha. They bought out what was the old Lincoln Financial broadcasting that did alot of SEC stuff. I assume they still gonna use the WKYT/WYMT stations.
Yeah, I jus checked their site, and WKYT is still a Lex affiliate.

Man they just started calling it Lincoln Financial here recently after it was called Jefferson Pilot. Does nobody want the sponsorship?

Raycom always did a lot of ACC games, kind of their version of J-P. The production quality was always about the same as the J-P broadcasts, so I expect very little will change.

short for Ray Communications - founded by Rick Ray in Charlotte around 1980.
He started with Va. Tech hoops, then joined with J-P to get ACC hoops.
Created the Blockbuster & Continental Tire Bowls.
Renamed the Sea Wolf Classic to the Great Alaska Shootout.
J-P became LFS recently, but I don't think LFS was bought by Raycom.
