I know i am, you cant turn the channel to espn without them talking about sterioids.

I cannot watch Espn without seeing Roger Clemens face.
I don't think that it should be getting this much publicity.

IMO, I think Clemons is gonna get out of this. I like to think he innocent but I don't think Andy Pettite would lie about the things he said. Mcnamee has lied so many times already IDK if they will listen to anything else he says. I really think is gonna come down to the DNA tests with the needles and all that.
I do agree that it shouldn't be gettin this much publicity. We might as well either get use to it or quit watchin ESPN for a while. If the Rocket is found guilty, it will get more publicity then everything that is goin on now and has been goin on since the report came out.

It's hard to tell if the stuff McNamme had was actual "gear" Clemens used. For all we know it could have been the B12 needles or the lidocaine pins. It would be real hard to determine what was actually down in the syringe due to each steroid having a different half-life and how would it hold up as a chemical compound after years of exposure. Blood could be traced back to him but it's hard to tell if the juice holds up to the same ability as blood traces under scientific testing. I for one could really care less what comes about of this, but I find it interesting to listen to.

McNamme got busted for lying in the past when he denied that a bunch of his clients used preformance enhancing drugs, and in Jose Canseco's deposition he said that the party Roger was supposed to have been at, at his home, was untrue. Clemens provided evidence he was on the golf course that day. He also said Andy Petite may have got his words mixed up which is possible. I think it's crazy how people remember stuff that happend and where they were at on dates 7-8 years ago when I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.

I am sick of all of it. I believe Clemens is as guilty of taking the stuff as Barry Bonds is and many other players. What I found most interesting about the Clemens thing is that all the frickin republicans are fans of his and think hes god and cant even think of the possibility of his guilt. They are looking more at the mans name than what he is being accused of and thats why he will beat this. Baseball has become a joke. It started with the strike in 94 and has steamrolled into crap. Commissioner Selig is the worst commissioner in any sport and has done his part to destroy baseball as well. I say take all these steroid freaks and ban them from baseball for life, what they have done is no worse or better than what Pete Rose was banned for. They have destroyed the integrity of the game by cheating and all he did was gamble. I dont condone what he did but I think steroids is way worse.

Im tired of it. I cant watch espn without and 30 minute talk of Roger Clemens and its the same stuff everytime.

Its very aggravating, most baseball players are on it, its just they only chase after a certain few, usually the better players. They need to quit making such a big deal about it and let it go, i think everyone is sick of it

True, put Pete in the Hall if they allow some of the individuals that tested positive for steroid use in. At least Pete didn't bet against his own team, so he says. Players and personal trainers can always find another way to cheat the game. In all honesty, I believe you'll see a bunch of players form diabetes over the next couple of years. People can use insulin to enhance muscular growth and athletic performance if they take an injection in what body part(s) they are going to be exercising during a particular work out.

Pete Rose didn't do anything wrong, he didn't do anything to cheat or hurt the game. He bet on the games, he bet on HIS team to WIN EVERY time he bet.

I am very tired of hearing about steroids and the circus surrounding the congressional hearings. It really turns me off to following baseball period with all the accusations flying around the game.
02-15-2008, 10:07 PM
Yea just ban anyone that gets caught doing seriods.
02-16-2008, 08:42 PM
I'm glad baseball is getting this much bad publicity about steroids. I hate to say it but it is fair punishment for ignoring the problem for so long.

I am for sure sicking about hearing about Steroids in baseball and I have no idea why they even have a hearing , when they know good'n'well most of the stars have cheated, but for one I would rather see some NBA highlights on ESPN than seeing Brian McNamee or Roger Clemens
