South Floyd vs. Shelby Valley 2/15-Broadcast on 93.1 WDHR
#1
thought?
#2
As long as SF isn't intimidated, then it wont be 30pts+ win...But, SV is a much better team than the Raiders...
#3
SF has made some progress late this season but not that much. Valley is the much better team. Valley by as many as they want.
#4
lol to even think this one wont be a blowout is crazy, you are right SF has improved somewhat, but not enough to even be within 30 of Valley, Im gonna say Valley by 35+ depending on when they put their JV in.
#5
Allen Central beat them by 37 and played their jv team and freshman so Shelby Valley should be able to win by whatever margin they want

...They played there JV the last 2 or 3 mins...You make it sound like it was the whole 4th quarter or something...

Would be nice to see some class out of SV, play hard and put the game away early. Give some of the young kids some good minutes.
#8
AC's JV played the last 6-7 minutes of the game, pretty much the 4th quarter, SV will win this one very easily and give their younger players a chance to get some playing time
#9
AC's JV played like 3 or 4 mins at the most i was at the game and im pretty sure that uhavenoidea was also and the came in late in the 4th

They didnt play 6 or 7 mins....Please get a tape of the game and watch it...they played 3 mins at most...
#11
No that was the freshmen and 8th graders that played the last couple of minutes, the starters came out with 6-7 mins to go.
#12
It doesn't really matter if the JV played or not. Valley is a much better team and they will win by 25.

They took their starters out the last three minutes of the 3rd quarter and last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter and south floyd played their starters all but the last 2 minutes of the game but it wouldn't make any difference because their 2nd five is as good as their 1st. Allen Central could have won by 50 or more if they wanted too but Johnny Martin wouldn't do that.

lol well the funny thing bout this is south floyd dont have like a starting line up they use like an 10-11 man rotation and switched their starting line ups around several times this year and as i recall they played the other players with like 4-5 mins left in the forth quarter and the only two players that went in with 2 mins left was a freshmen and sophmore that was there first varsity game so like before you say anything make sure you no what actually took place....and as for them winning by 50 we will see in district tournyWink

Barry Hall is in a tough position I know. But, when you have got at least Three of his kids throwing up shots from literally 30 to 35 feet, you have a Negative %10 chance of winning a ball Game!
And, it is not only happening when the team is down by 25 or 30 but, in considerably tight games. I mean, down by 12 or 15 still in the 3rd qt. there is no need for shots like that.
#17
In other words.... Shelby Valley by 42

Hey they won by 37 and could have easily won by 50. The only reason they won't win by 50 in the district is because Johnny Martin won't let that happen. See you at Allen Central

Coach Martin dressed 2 new Varsity players on Friday- Freshmen John Dingus and 8th grader Micah Harlow. The Sophomore's have been there all season and the other Freshmen is Austin Woods, he has dressed all season with Varsity.

Well which one is it?...AC was on fire in this game, they could have probably beat anyone in the region in this game...They would have beat anyone in the district this bad on this night...Every school has a down year or a down few years...A few years ago, AC won about 6 or 7 games in 2 years...Now they have the chance to repeat as District Champs...
#26
Valley in a big way. Game will be over in the early part of the second quarter...
#27
SV by as many as they want
#28
This will get ugly from the get go, I don't think anyone on that South Floyd team will be able to get by there press... Valley names the score!

Good luck to both.

if Valley does press alot then that would be dirty on thier part cause they know that SF is very weak and down pretty bad...but good luck and im gonna take Valley by 28

Why would pressing be dirty???
That is what SV does, every game.
That's the way they play regardless of competition.
