South Floyd and Phelps predictions?
#1
its really just according to wat south floyd team shows up. this team can be the best and can hang with anybody in the 15th some nights and other nights show up and be the worst. if south plays like they have been the last week or 2. south floyd by 15+. if they don't. phelps by 2
#2
South Floyd should in win this one
#3
SF by 10.
#4
SF wins easily.
#5
South Floyd should have no problem winning this one, depending on how the Raiders choose to play.
#6
Easy win for SF...everyone on the bench for SF should get to play atleast a quarter. I feel SF has really turned their season around. If SF hits their free throws they can beat any team in the region!!!
#7
That is the problem, cant shoot free throws, dont play together. This team at times is one of the most selfish I have ever seen. I could not pick this team to beat anyone even when they should win. I think they {including the Coach} have forgotten how to be a team and win. No heart.
Coach needs to take control of this team. Sad Sad

I agree 110% pitbull! The Raiders have more potential than any team in the region but they dont always come ready to play as a team and that happens quite often.

You and I must not be watching the same South Floyd team. The South Floyd team I see is unselfish. They are starting to play a lot better as a team and it's only a matter of time before they start playing to their potential. Seems like they shot 20-26 against ER. That's a huge improvement since the games in the past.

Obviously Pitbull you have absolutely no idea what goes on with the Raiders. Coach Hall has absolute control over the Raiders. Enough said.

Im gonna go against the grain and say Phelps by 7
#11
Look unibomber, the bottom line is the coach sat on the bench while a player got a Tech on him in overtime. This led to a 4 point turn around which cost you the game. How selfish is that. Dont look like much control to me. 8)

South Floyd by 17
#13
south floyd as bad as the wont big guys wit a big game and the raiders go on to win it all
#14
If I remember correctly Johnson picked up his 5th on the opposite end of the court from SF's bench. Johson took one step and picked up the T Im not sure Coach Hall could have stopped it from transpiring at that moment.
#15
Doc you are right. My point is I think he has gotten techs before which means as a coach you have to fix the problem the first time so it dosent happen again. Thats what Coachs are suppose to do. Fix problems.
#16
Who is the unibomber?
#17
I feel he has and is addressing it/ I am sure he sat the boy out for ithink a couple of games. And i was told he had been playing with more control
But everyone has setbacks
Yes it was dumb and came at a time that cost them the game but I personally would rather it happen now for them than in a dist or tourny game

How rude of me I did not see you there Wyatt
#18
I agree Doc, thats why there is regular seasons. Iron out the problems before tourny time. SF could be a very good team, but that stuff must go.
bevinsville bomber was who I was calling unibomber.
#19
I have been Ironing out my problems for years
But now I am in my Prime

I understand that PG Johnson at sf has had many ref issues on the floor. He was sat by what seem to be by the ref in the Lex Tourny in Dec. He also had ref issues at WYMT tourny. Needs to control himself and Coach Hall does have controll of his team, they do what ever they want. I have even herd a issue at practice with finger point words echanged between plays, great control sounds like to me. A night or few on the bench would straighten out some problems. Play the kids that want to win as a team, there are some on the SF roster.
#21
Well said, thats why we call you the SHOW
#22
I had no idea South floyd was in such dire straits. Coach Hall needs to make a stand and get on these players that are doing wrong. I think as a coach he needs to stand more on the sidelines and argue with the refs over calls. It may not be effective but it looks good to us fans.
#23
He could at least appear to be coaching instead of waiting for the next bus at the stop.
#24
Coach Hall has made a stand and turned this team around..Pit Bull I dunno what SF team you watched but this is a completely different team then what they were earlier in the season..If coach Hall doesnt have control of the team then why did he sit Little out a few games ago?
#25
Pitbull/showtyme until you have been in the Raiders huddle do not say anything toward the Coach. He was not sat by a ref in Lexington He was sat By coach Hall and the WYMT refs started on Ryan, Wes Hall who says nothing to anyone, Mason before the game saying they would make a point out of them (fact i know this). Ryan might have dug a hole for himself with the refs but a ref is also supposed to be a grown up and be the big man which they have not been.
I am not condoning anything and yes the T's where needed. But do not point fingures at anyone unless you are at practice and have seen it first hand. Yes there has been some heated practices but thats it the next day the fingure pointers like you call them went and played playstation together before practice.
also stand on the sideline and argue with the Refs good coaching yes for the fans but as a coach the last thing you think about is for the fans. Like bomber said ft's 20-26 the other night, that is getting better and just losing close games.

What do you do in this type of situation? Yell at the referee for making the call he did and make matters worse? No. The player brought the 'T' on himself and it was a stupid mistake on his part. The coach dealt with the situation accordingly behind closed doors and I personally don't see it happening again.

BTW, it's bevinsville_bomber, not unibomber. But I do have to say those are some classy posts for a moderator.

I was not aware of mass transit in floyd county. I must be in the 1880's

Hey J youre right no one knows but the people there. As far as finger pointing I would say it is more me expressing my opinion and what I have seen. Last time I checked this was the old united states of america and according to the constitution i can voice my opinion, right or wrong as it may be. I would love to see the raiders put it together and shut those valley dweelers up. Maybe even in the all a.
