i will say one thing the refs last night were awful. magoffin was shooting the double bonus in the 3rd quarter and valley didnt even get in the bonus until overtime. now that is awful on the refs part.:dontthink

well the refs did make some bad calls but they also made alot of good ones so it isnt all the refs fault..but they def. didnt help either team to an extreme

The refs in this one made a few bad calls both ways, but I don't think they were heavy toward one side. Overall they blew the whistle alot, either team could have gone to the basket and probably would have gotten a pair of free throws.

I haven't read were anyone blamed the Ref's for losing,it was a poor officiated game,agreed by both a valley fan and a MC fan.
The fouls called was lope sided and MC done an excellent job of knocking them down,especially NO 21.
MC done a good job on defnese on Valley's #10,Valley slacked on defense some especially in the 1st half,thought overall Valley done a good job,more in the second half,smallwood,sawyers and perkins came up big when they needed them.Overtime was a bad NO call on a Valley drive to the basket which would have put perkins on the line and more then likely a double OT but NO call.Game over!
Congrats MC,not to far down the road,they'll play again i think at Valley,good luck to both teams down the stretch!

MC shot twenty more free throws. SV had every chance to win this one but didn't get it done. IT does take you out of pace when the ref keeps blowing the whistle. COngrats MC!

No where in the rule book does it say that both teams should have an equal amount of fouls called or that they should shoot an equal amount of free throws. Good win for the Lady Hornets.

First of all you need to take a deep breath and read what i said,NO one blamed the Refs,and yes the fools was lopsided at one time in 2nd half it was 12 fouls to 4 so yes my friend that is lopsided.I gave MC props for their win,what else you want,valley didn't play up to their potentual the whole game just in spirts,and when you play like that a GOOD team will beat ya!Maybe valley was fouling more (that got called) but the action was about the same at both ends,it was whether they wanted to blow the whitsle or not.No big deal,regroup and go play the next game.cya feb 11th in the VALLEY!

Duh,thanks for clearing that up for me,i had NO idea :mad: I use to think that what happened at one end of the court was called a foul and the same thing happened at the OTHER end of the court should also be a foul(not anymore),sometimes it like going to the movies and watching 3-D.It's never the same NO matter which way you hold the glasses Ref's was not the reason for valley's loss,OK.I do thank you for clearing up the rule book for me though :notworthy

They led by double digits in the first half and a big part of the 3rd quarter, but instead of extending the lead they let Valley right back in the game.
