Best Player in the 15th
#1
Who is the best player in the 15th?
#2
Elisha Justice from shelby Valley.
#3
slone
#4
Justice from Valley
#5
Landon slone is way better then justice from valley. Justice isnt near the athlete slone is. IMO. But he is close behind slone.
#6
Slone easily. Justice isnt far behind though.
#7
definently Slone

First of all Slone is the best player with Justice a close second. For you to say Justice isnt near the athlete is a little off. Justice is faster, quicker, has quicker hands and at under six feet tall can still dunk. He has added 10 to 15 pounds of muscle since last season. At the first of your post you say Slone is "way better" and at the end he is a close second. I think your a little confused.

Elisha Justice - Shelby Valley

I love the way this kid plays, he is a sophomore and is already the leader of his team. He can shoot, pass, defend, and he is quick. One of the smarter basketball players I've ever seen and he knows what to do in pressure situations. Landon can shoot better than anyone in the region but I think Elisha is much more valuable.
#10
I would rather have Landon ten to one... No offense, but what does dunking have to do with anything ?
#11
I would say it's a dead heat between slone and crum from allen central, he might be the best 3 point shooter in the state
#12
Crum can shoot with the best of em' in the 15th region. But in my opinion he is no where near the best the player in the 15th region. There's a lot more to being the best player in a region than shooting the lights out. Defense, ball handling, rebounding, passing etc... have to be considered.

I have one question for you, have you even seen Elisha play this season?
#15
The guy who said Landon is the better athlete it's funny. Elisha is only 6'0 and can dunk, you ever seen Landon put one down? Elisha is too fast for Landon, that's why you'll see Bundy guard him if they play, Elisha would run a circle around him.

I would take Landon if I needed a clutch shot at the end of the game only because he is more experienced, give Elisha two more years and there won't be a player in this region that can touch him.

Elisha has the more upside than Landon does because he is younger, so of course overall Elisha will become the better player of the two, and right now because of how young he is, I say Elisha is the best player in the 15th.

Younger? They are both 17.

I seen him several times this year and have stood and talked to him, I believe you must have had a typo. He's not even close to 6'0.

Landon Slone

There has been much debate in this thread about who is the better player, E. Justice or L. Slone. No doubt most would agree they are the top 2. Both are unbelieveable talents and you couldn't go wrong with either of them. I believe they are two very different type players. Justice is a silky smooth point guard who plays almost mistake free basketball. Super smart and makes everyone around him better. Slone is more of a scorer and is a force on offense. He is a good three point shooter, has a great mid-range jumper, can shoot from anywhere on the floor, and can go for 50 on any given night.

For what its worth IMO, Landon Slone is the best overall player in the region. No doubt Justice will be tops in the region his Jr. & Sr. year. Just my opinion!

Good post! If you take in all the aspects of basketball, Elijah would come out on top. Landon is exactly what you said, a prolific scorer. I believe if Valley needed him to, Elijah could score 30 a game and we wouldn't even be having this discussion. I would never take anything away from Landon though, he's a very good b-ball player. I just think Elijah can do more on the floor: dribble, pass, defense, penetrate defenses, and makes everyone around him a better player. If we asked all the coaches that prepare for both of these teams, I believe they would say that Elijah is harder to face than Landon.

I'm about 6'1 and he's just shorter than I am, so know what you're talking about before you post it on here.

Mr. Justice gets my vote.

I think Shane Grimm is the best "overall" player in the region because he is a complete player. I'd take five Grimm's over and other player in the region if you gave me the choice. He has probably been the biggest reason for his teams play this year. If you take him out of the lineup the Tigers wouldn't be the same team.

Great post, i agree with you 100%. Grimm just puts him self out there, diving for balls getting physical under the goal and knockin down the 3 ball. Grimm gives this Tiger team the extra push they need the win ball games. He also avg 20 points a game.

What kind of team do you think Valley would be without Elisha?

Near the athlete??? He is one of if not the quickest/fastest players in the region. And at well under 6 Feet can throw it down. That being said I believe Elisha Justice is the best player in the region. He is the best defensive player in the region IMO. He has to be among the top if the state in steals and most important he is a FLOOR GENERAL! He controls the tempo of the game with ease and is a great leader and very very very unselfish, not to mention ONLY a Sophomore.
