Does anyone know why Piarist Forfeited against Belfry tonight(1/14)?

I think one of their players was injured.

I heard they only had 5 players eligible.

That is correct and with one injured they had to forfeit.

He finished playing the 1st half though.

I have a huge problem with Piarist playing anyway.

If it was really about the love of the game, they would let the kids play, schedule some fresh and JV games and build from there.

Or is it about the check they get from district/region tourney?

KHSAA should make them forfeit the rest of the season now, allowing those who have them to schedule each other and not WASTE a game.......

Piarist dont really have that many students to begin with...So it would be pretty hard for them to have a Fresh. and JV squad...

Not what I'm saying.

Let the SR's, JR's, Soph's and Fresh. all play freshman and a JV schedule.

No one would have a problem with it, as the Varsity coaches could actually schedule a game that would help the team in some way.............

Well dont you think that would be very tough on the kids, considering they only have 5 players...Are u saying not to let Piarist compete in Varsity competition?

i do not have anything against Piarist but I am going to have to agree with Next. They need to step out of the Varsity stage until they get competitive and get a coach who knows what they are doing to coach them and go from there. They could play in the Christian School Tournament that is always held and then play some JV teams to get better. I mean honestly it is like Evangel Christian in football
