Off the top of my head Allen Central, and Buckhorn haven't defeated Betsy Layne this season. Those are two pretty nice wins if you ask me... But there is no need for negative remarks, like yours.

No negative remark was intended. I am just stating that it is a nice win for the Eagles, but it isn't anything to get on here and brag about. It sure doesn't mean that the Eagles have gotten back on the winning track or turned their season around. BL has had some good teams, but this year they have struggled. All teams go through years like that. That is just the obvious in 2007-08. Next year it may be different for a lot of teams. If that is offensive, get over it. Besides, if you are a Blackcat fan, why are you so concerned about BL or JC anyway?

Its no big deal, but it was a negative remark... I may be one who will go through **** and high water for my Blackcat teams but I don't have anything against any school in our area, until we play them. Big Grin

It's always tough to win at Betsy Layne. The AC vs. BL game- AC couldn't buy a basket and BL couldn't miss one. The February match up between these 2 teams should be a good one. It doesn't matter what your record is- when it's a 58th district game- it's a battle.

Me neither. In fact, I wish the best for BL and JC, except when they play Paintsville. But I hate to see ppl get on here and act like the Eagles beating BL is a landmark turnaround for the Eagles, because it isn't. JC won and they should have. But lets wait until they play a better team before getting too carried away about it.

WOW. I'll give credit where credit is due. Congrads on the big win. Don't know how good/bad BL is but a win like that could be a big momentum swing in favor of the Eagles.

I know you didn't. I didn't mean to imply that you did. Sorry for any confusion. I was only originally stating that this was not really a big surprise win for JC as it seemed everyone appeared to be shocked that JC won. I didn't mean to dis BL in making the comment either. But this year JC and most of the other 15th Region teams are just better than BL. Look at the schedules and results. They speak for themselves. With that said, I wish both JC and BL the best of luck the rest of the season.
