So I got bored, and hungry and decided I wanted meatballs.
Here is the recipe that I tweaked to my own liking and they turned out really good.
Meatball Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
2 packages onion mix (soup) powder
1 teaspoon salt and pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2/3 cup milk
Mix well, but gently with hands. Roll into balls and cook under preheated broiler for 10-13 minutes. It's best to make one extra meatball that you can cut to check that the inside of the meatball is cooked.
Sauce Ingredients:
Combine 2 cups ketchup
5-7 tablespoons of Worcestershire
1/2 heaping cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons horseradish sauce (optional, but I like the extra kick)
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Bring the sauce to a simmer then add meatballs. Cover and simmer meatballs in the sauce for at least 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Serve.
