Just curious to what everyone's favorite movie soundtracks are?
I can't choose between the two, so here are my favorites:
Dazed and Confused

Phantom of the Opera was one of the better musicals I've ever seen, I'd love to see the actual play.

Everyone who grew up in the 90's has to have Space Jam on their list. I can't think of a single person who didn't have that CD.

By far the best: WALK HARD: THE DEWEY COX STORY!!!!

I like Dazed and Confused also and loved Forrest Gump. Punisher is a good one along with Friday Night Lights. One that will shock you is the Elizabethtown Soundtrack. Alot of good 70's music on it. Good music to just get out and drive too.

Was THE BIG CHILL a soundtrack? If not, it definately has to be included!
01-06-2008, 12:04 PM
OMG, how could we forget The Blues Brothers?? And yeah, The Big Chill was a great soundtrack too..also, the Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid (Sam Peckinpah's 1973 version) soundtrack was all Bob Dylan, and ended with one of the best song endings to a movie of all time..

MY all time favorite is "Last Action Hero". The Schwarzeneger movie from 1993. The movie was terrible but the soundtrack had AC/DC, Alice in Chains, Megadeth, Cyprus Hill, and Tesla. I dont remember a bad song on that CD.

Judgment Night.
A little-known movie, but a GREAT soundtrack CD with each track performed by a rock group/rap artist combination. Had acts on it like Pearl Jam, Slayer, Faith No More, Biohazard, Sonic Youth, House of Pain, and Cypress Hill, just to name a few.
