Sounds like Elisha had another great game as well as Jacob Bryant and Tyler Newsome.

Coming out of last season I thought Valley could improve greatly if Booher would play Tyler Newsome and Tackett more minnutes. Can Valley continue this very good play throughout the course of the year?

Good bounce back game by SV. They will only lose 1 more game before the post season with that being in the All A Tournament (probably at the state All A tourney, if they don't win it all). But I still think they will hit a lull later on but they just might be too good for that to stop them.

I don't think they are according to Maxpreps.

Congrats to Shelby Valley! Very impressive showing to first beat a team from Miami, lose to a team ranked #3 in the nation, then come back and beat a New York team in their own backyard for the third place title! And to do it all having just lost Taylor Newsome!
Great job Cats, way to show those northerners what eastern Kentucky basketball is all about.

Good job Valley, does that have them in 3rd place up there?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

WOW! That is all I can really say after going to a tourney like this and going 2-1. Against teams from cities like Miami, New York, I can't believe they did so well up there. They are proving that the injury to Taylor may not affect them as much as we may have anticipated. Great job Cats! Way to showcase your name across the country.

Congrats on 3rd place in a very tough and prestigous tournament. The win over South Miami coming from behind like that is especially impressive.
