ECU done a great deed. They realized they couldn't get 5,000 fans to go to Hawaii so they donated to the armed forces stationed on the island. Wouldn't be suprised if ECU won this game now.

just so everyone knows - Bowl teams ae required to sell X number of tickets as part of their agreement to accept a bid. This actually means buy, so schools "eat" any unsold tickets. Yes, donating them is a nice move, but I actually expect that from ECU now (the Marshall plaque, the 100K Hokie check). Getting their fans to "donate" tickets reduces their loss. Nice move and great the P R.
