How's everyone doing?
In one league with my close friends, I drafted Frank Gore, who was a let-down at the start of the year and Brees who was also a let-down at the start of the year, needless to say, none of my other picks really panned out either, so I'm done in that league. Toight's the first time I've looked at the BGR league in months and I finished 9 out of 10, wonderful. Two other leagues I'm middle-of-the-pack.
In my big money league ($50 buy-in- that's big money for me because I'm in college:mad: ), I just won the game in the second week of the playoffs and now I'm in the finals. I had the first draft pick, and drafted LT first, Brees and Colston in the second and third rounds (I dropped Brees after a few weeks because he was splaying horrible at the start of the year), and I drafted Peterson later in the draft. My back-up QB was Derek Anderson who's had a big year, so I started rough, but have been blowing people out since then. The friend I'm playing in the finals has Tom Brady, which is the lone reason that he's been winning games this year, and Steven Jackson and Ryan Grant, who can also be dangerous (Jackson plays Pitt, so I'm not really concerned because their rush D is tough, and Grant plays Chicago, who has struggled but only allowed 136 yards against a team that's having one of the biggest years rushing in history). I'm the favorite, but I'm scared that Brady will blow up and have 73 fantasy points because I believe the Patriots will try and beat the touchdown passes record against Miami so they don't have to worry about it in the last week of the season, and they won't just beat the record, they'll destroy it.
