ESPN: Roger Clemens to be named in Mitchell Report!
#1
I've been hearing for a few days that this report is sure to disappoint.... and this latest leak is further proof.

The Rocket --- The Roids. Sad

Man you need to post a link...BTW I will never believe he took roids to gain anything...maybe to come back from an injury.

Why wouldn't you believe it? Its not like we know him or anything... he's just another guy taking the fans money to play a game that high school kids would die to play in college... for free.

Come back from his injury? He could have taken glucosamine chondroitin. Smile

Thats ridiculous.

He just doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that would take them to get ahead. It's common to take HGH when coming back from an injury.

He doesn't 'seem' like it.... Thats insanity in action. OJ didn't seem like a murderer before he sliced some throats......

And sure, if he took HGH, thats cool... had been legally prescribed for a legit reason. I've taken it myself. Lets see what the report says.... from what I've read, its actually STEROIDS... not hGh.

I really hope that Clemens didn't take steroids. I've seen videos of his off-season training, and it is extremely intense. I feel that is why he has been able to pitch and be successful for all these years. The guy that gave Mitchell Clemens' name, Mcnamee (sp?), I think it was. According to Clemens' agent, McNamee had a history of being a very unreliable source, and the only reason to throwing in Clemens' name was because he was threatened with jail time.
I think steroids and baseball is a shame. It really hurts the guys that go out and bust their butt to be successful, and do it the RIGHT way. All because some guy that isn't worth a crap goes out and tried to make himself bigger by shooting up some Anabolic Steroids. It hurts those guys that train as intense as Roger Clemens has throughout his career. It hurts the fans of the players that have taken steroids. Overall, it just flat out changes the way the game is viewed. And more than likely will have a bad long-term affect on the game. Hopefully, the MLB can get things cleared up and get back to playing the great game of baseball, back to the way it should be played.

I'm just curious how this will affect peoples perspective of him as one of the greatest ever and a future H.O.F.
