Ashley Hall - 21pts (5/7 3pt's)
Breanna Adams - 16pts (Dominate down low, most points coming from free throws)
Magoffin Co. was all about Defense Monday night. They swarmed Allen Cnetral from start to finish. At one point they led by as many as 42 points then sube checked in the 4th quarter. Most dissapointing thing the whole night for the Lady Hornets were their own turnovers. Both teams had around 19 to's on the night, way to many, but it is the 2nd game of the year. MCHS was up 24-4 after the first Q. 40-18 at the half. 61-24 (I think is correct after the 3rd Q) and Allen Central outscored Magoffin Co. something like 20-8 in the 4th, but the outcome was no doubt since the early part of the game. Bottom line, this team (MCHS) looked good together, they have size, can run and play good defense. They can pound it down low with Megan Powers, Breanna Adams, Kelli Hall or Felicia Prater and they can hit from the 3pt line with, Ashley Hall, Kaitelyn Minix as well as several of their inside players. Magoffin will be a surprise this year, wait and see. They host Pike Co Central this Friday night @ 7:30. WRLV has the game live beginning at 7pm with pre-game.
