They have a home scrimmage on the 17th against SC. There will be two other games that day with a total of 6 teams to be previewed.
On the 21st, they are traveling to Allen Central for a scrimmage. I dont know who they will be playing that day.

With players being out in football and cross country or whatever that other sport they are in. At the Pikeville scrimmage, there will be 6 teams in it. Pikeville, Betsy Layne, East Ridge, Jenkins, Pike Central, and Shelden Clark. Considering at the Allen Central scrimmage we will be playing Knott County, I am sure there are other teams going to be there also. First scrimmages, tons of mistakes will be made, thinks will be done just to see if either they work, or if you team has the right idea on things. There really isnt much to scout on in a preseason scrimmage.

Does Pikeville have any really good teams, in the state or out of state, on their schedule instead of the local average teams?

Is it true that Pikeville only has a hand full of home games this season?

They are in tourneys with teams including Trinity, Holmes, Male, the WYMT tourney, Dobyns Bennitt Tenn, the winning est team in the country. I dont know a lot about Muhlenburg South which is who they play in the PIT. Add into that, Shelby Valley at least twice. They dont have a easy schedule.

doesn't look like they will win many games but it will work out for them in the long run. I hope they prove me wrong on the other hand and come away with half of those as wins. Good Luck

They have 8 games at home counting the PIT and 2 at the Expo, so actually they will play 10 games in the city of Pikeville.
