Another Female teacher "educating" her students

DOUGLAS COUNTY - A teacher at Ponderosa High School in Douglas County is in custody and is accused of having several sexual encounters with a student at the school. The student is younger than 18 years old.

Thirty-five-year-old Nicole Andrea Barnhart faces child sex assault charges including sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust with a pattern of abuse.

Police say Barnhart had sex with the student on several occasions in Parker.

The Douglas County School District placed her on administrative leave Wednesday.

Barnhart is in custody at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility. Her bond is set at $50,000.

ok.. i can see where they would fire her.. but to put her in jail is a little harsh.. unless she forced the kid to do it.. But this situation is a little different than a male teacher and a girl student..

If it happened more than once then obviously the boy consented to it.. So a 50,000 dollar bond is a little harsh

well that's true.. but most cases like this are considered sexual harrassment. Who's to say the boy didn't seduce the woman. ahh i don't know.. i'll shut up lol

Where were these teachers when I was in high school? lol jk.

If the boy let it happen then she shouldn't get in trouble. If she forced him then make her suffer. But really I don't see the boy saying no. lol

man if a guy teacher was in that situation and the stundent girl "let" it happen, the guy teacher would still get put under the jail.
lol but yea if a hot teacher asked me, i'd nail it too.

i think that these types of situations occur more than people think that they do but never get caught. i know someone that was sleeping with a student, the parents found out and got a restraining order against the teacher, and after the guy graduated he married that teacher and they have 2 children, and she is STILL teaching. i dont know how she is considering that everyone else gets their certificate taken.
