After UK's win, they are now 4-0 on the year. It got me thinking about the last time they went 4-0 (or better) in their history.
Year Started Finished Post-Season
1903 7-0 7-1
1904 5-0 9-1
1909 4-0 9-1
1910 7-0 7-2
1911 4-0 7-3
1914 4-0 5-3
1922 5-0 6-3
1923 4-0-1 4-3-2
1929 5-0 6-1-1
1930 4-0 5-3
1932 4-0 4-5
1933 4-0 5-5
1939 5-0-1 6-2-1
1940 4-0-2 5-3-2
1949 5-0 9-3 Orange Bowl vs. Santa Clara, L 13-21
1950 10-0 11-1 Sugar Bowl vs. Oklahoma, W 13-7
1983 4-0 6-5-1 Hall of Fame Bowl vs. West Virginia, L 16-20
1984 5-0 9-3 Hall of Fame Bowl vs. Wisconsin, W 20-19
2002 4-0 7-5
2007 4-0 ?
As you can see, in UK's 100+ year history, they've only started 4-0 or better 20 times. Andre Woodson is a proven leader and the players around him react to him and follow his example. Their defense is improving each week, and they are becoming a competitor in the SEC. How far will this 2007 team go?

I am just making sure. Was 2002 the first year of our NCAA penalties? No bowl game.
