Leslie Co. 42 - McCreary Central 36
#1
Leslie overcomes some horrible officiating at the end of the first half and wins 42-36.
Jimmy Joe Morgan goes 25-31 for 210 yards and 3 TD's. Zero incompletions in the second half. A steady improving defense held McCreary's star RB phillip Watts to a season low rushing total.
The Eagles had a brilliant goaline stand that was taken away from them at the end of the first half when the head official called a touchdown on fourth down from 15 yds. behind the pile. Neither of the linesmen called a TD.
The Eagles also had a goaline stand to end the game keeping McCreary out of the endzone and preserving the win.

"A steady improving defense held McCreary's star RB phillip Watts to a season low rushing total. " HOW you figure?

Did you watch this game? For one his name is Aaron Watts and he had 21 rushes for 207 yards with 2 td's. I don't think that's holding somone down. LOL Although you may be right I think he had 290 in the first game and 506 all purpose yards and 7 TD's in the second game.

I was right on everything except the name. That is all of their offense. He's it. And he did not have 207 yds. rushing. He had 174. I talked to the head statistician for Leslie, and I'll stick to what he says because he does it by the book.

So if they held him to that low of a total, their total offense was that low or at least around there.

It's the home team that turns in the stats. I'm just going by what their stats guy told me. Leslie won congrat's. I don't post anything unless I know I have it right. Also this kid will rewrite all the record books in football and basketball at MC he's only a soph.

Use some correct english and spelling. I stand corrected, Leslie has given up 48, 38 and now 36. That is improvement. Although giving up 36 is not holding someone down. Your right McCreary only had Watts and they are not that good. Congrat's on the win. Now get ready for Middlesboro.
