I am not a big Clark Stepp fan either, but everyone hates a winner, and I would say that Clark has beaten your team and dropped 35 or more on ya is the very reason that there are so many negative comments on this kid! You think Clark gets on here and reads this, and if he does, do you think it is going to affect his game. NO, he thrives off of negative talk as any good player does! Just like Dale Earnhardt once said, if people aren't booing or talking about ya, then your not doing something good! Best of Luck Clark!Dale Earnhardt is dead too.

I really do enjoy to see any kid form the moutains get a chance to play at the next level, but I don't think Stepp is a legit D-1 prospect. I wish him the best with whatever happens.

He only seemed good because he raced nobodies.
Clark Stepp is awesome if they play Riverside.

We are all free to express our opinion here and it's obvious you are not a fan of Clark Stepp and JBS, but give the kid a break. He is, after all, just a kid.
We ALL, now know you do not like JBS...further negative posts from you just make you look silly.
And to top it off, you have shown your obvious ignorance of NASCAR with you post about Dale Earnhart.
Get a little positivity in your life, you'll feel better.

Yea Raven Boy what's your problem? You need to straighten up!
RavenBoy Wrote:He only seemed good because he raced nobodies.
He raced nobodies. That has to be the funniest thing I have ever read in these forums. Sorry but if you have the talent to make it to the top of the racing world then you most certainly are not racing nobodies. He raced Pettys, Waltrips, Pearsons, Gordons, Martins and the list goes on and on. I am by no means an Earnhardt fan but anyone with any knowledge of racing knows that he is one of the best to have ever donned a fire suit.

I realize my entire post is a bit off topic but I am just pointing out how ridiculous that entire comment was.

RavenBoy is just someone who tries to get everybody to start and he feeds off of it. And after a post like that, makes you know that you just have to laugh at ignorance! Clark Stepp would shut him out in a game to whatever and laugh at him!

Clark Stepp is a very good player and I hope that he get's a chance at D-1. But he will have to improve in a few areas if he does, and two of those are outside shooting and defense. If he can do that then he will be ok. But I hope he and his family don't overestimate his game and send him to a place where he sits four years on the bench, playing in only cleanup games. He may do well to look around the state at some NAIA or D-2 schools. I heard that Georgetown College was showing some interest in him but were told by the father that they were looking at something bigger. Well, folks, Georgetown College is not exactly chop liver. They play a good brand of basketball, and have played some good D-1 programs socks off in the past. I would think he should be honored to play at a school of that stature. But even at Ggeorgetown he might still find himself getting limited action. Many of their players are former unhappy D-1 players. They have given UK and UL all they wanted in scrimmages, and put a scare in top 10 rated Pitt a few years ago.

Good luck to him whever he goes but I cant honestly believe this many people care where he goes.

Georgetown is a VERY GOOD place to have an offer from! Johnny Ray Williams from Jenkins played there and had a VERY GOOD career there in the mid 1990's!

He may be a good driver but he will NEVER have the fan appeal and popularity that Big E has had. Big E did everything from driving the cars to running his own race team. Gordon is just a pretty face that can drive. That is all that he will ever be. He will never get his hands dirty and try to work on a car like Big E did when he started. Gordon does nothing but drive the car and smile for the camera.

If you don't like every topic being about Stepp the come up with some other interesting facts about JBS basketball so everyone can discuss it. Until then quit griping about everything being about Stepp.

Jr joining the team will have absolutely no bearing on the fact that Gordon is just a driver and a face. He will never be involved in Nascar to the extent that Big E was. If memory serves me correct souvenir sales for Big E still ranks at the top of the heap. Speaks volumes for his fan support.

Not sure where you get your info , Miss St. ?? Get real. Just like Justin Hicks was recruited by Notre Dame and other D1 schools. He ended up at Pikeville College. Hicks has a pure shot, plays defense, quick , and has a decent court presence, but too small. Stepp can't play the point in D1, he can't play point in high school. Very few boys from eastern ky can play D1. Level of competition on a daily basis is sub par and we are not big enough, just a population thing. If Stepp plays at a D1 school it will be because his family pulled enough strings politically or payed for his scholarship.

The info came from a journalist who gets paid to share his information so I'd say he's spot on with his comments.
