Pikeville summerball highlights
#1
This is a little late, but here are some highlights of the 2007 Pikeville Panther summer games.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

They look good from the clips. Is #32 the guy that is possibly transferring to Pikeville? I don't believe I've seen him before. The big guy is doing what he is supposed to be doing by going to the hole hard and throwing it down. Had several guys that can knock down the open jumper. So far so good for the Panthers. Best of luck this season.

I guess #32 is the big guy from GA. By the looks of the video, the other big kid is shaping up nicely as well.

I agree Adams seems to be getting that nasty side, he has needed!!! I look for a good season from the panthers.

If Devan Adams can play like that during the season then it might not matter one bit if Kenny Hall comes or not for Pikeville to win region. 100% better looking than last year.

That is a pretty impressive highlight film. There hasn't been that many dunks in the last ten years of 15th Region play. Pikeville basketball is going to be exciting this season looks like!! Can't wait!!

Deven averaged a dunk a game over the summer. Kenny got two or three the day he played with them. Tim Honaker came very close to getting one. He was dunking it in layups at the Expo Center. I have that in the highlight film too.

This is my team to beat !!! forget about last season and get it done Panthers !!!

summer ball, does not matter. glad to see pikeville getting back to where they need to be and look for a lot of things out of them but summer ball does not mean anything. Different coaches use summer different. some just play their best and some play everyone. good luck panthers but do not read a lot into summer ball

You have to think...in the video, no one was near Devan when he dunked it, and I'm sure Ashley Hatfield isn't gonna let him just roam around somewhere and dunk it, he'll be man tight defense on him.

From what I saw the big kid looked pretty good. He was in there banging and even dunking a put-back. A big man in the mountains like that will dominate if he gets the ball low on the post. Good luck Pikeville!

Ashley wont let him roam around open like that? I am sure that was Tates Creek, Louisville Doss, and all the other teams we played this summers game plans. Let the big kid free to do what he wants. That doesnt sound like much of a game plan. Looking back on last years season, maybe Ashley should back off some instead of the tight man defense. It seems like when he plays tight man D that he spends a lot of time on the bench in foul trouble.

If he plays as aggressive in the season as he does in this video then he will be tough on all 15th region opponents....especially for an undersized boy named "Ashley"!!
