This sort of "you're the next Michael or Lebron" focus
on players this young demonstrates what an absolute
cut-throat BUSINESS big-time college basketball is. I've
said it before, I'll say it again: AAU basketball is OUT
OF CONTROL... Young people playing sixty and seventy (or more)
games in a few months...high school coaches repeating the mantra
that "you've got to play year round to compete" without ever
thinking that the whole thing has gotten out of hand. Where is
the KHSAA and other high school governing bodies? Where does
all the money in AAU ball go? Why all the unthinking allegiance
to a system that more and more disregard the balance in their
lives that helps young people be well rounded persons?
