David Rowe: Will he stay or go?

After this coming season 07-08 will coach David Rowe of Pike Central finally call it quits? The man has been plagued in the regional tournament and has now walked into a point of his carrier where talent is lacking. Will he turn over the reigns to JV Coach Mark Thompson or will he continue his carrier what are your thoughts?

Either way stay or go I would like to say thanks to Coach David Rowe for his years at Pike Central.

I've seen him at the Pikeville team camp coaching them the past couple of days so I would think he would be coaching this upcoming year but I could be wrong.

I know this is not on topic ,But who does Central have this season beside's Tyler Hamilton and Colby Slone ?

......or will Steven Butcher be the next boys coach at PCC???? He has done a great job with the girls program.

I think Butcher will stay were he is at.

I believe Coach will consider stepping down after this season. He has shown alot of class over the years and had teams that contend for district and regionals just about every year. I watched Pike Central in the Pikeville camp and they did not look bad at all. I think they may have a good year coming up.

He has been swaying back and forth over the past couple of years trying to decide to stay or to give up the job. One reason is b/c of his daughter will graduate after this year. As well he has been coaching for almost 20 years now and is ready to just settle down. I also think that him getting his principalship will also play a big factor in his decision. And to answer a former question i do not think you can be head coach and be principal.
