Look at it like this Gay is the best athlete, best intereior defender and presence, rebounder, consistant shooting, best college prospect...etc....he is the top senior case closed...imho

Agreed with Gay, I also thinkin him as the best player next year but i would have Clark 2nd.

Gay dosen't have the supporting cast that Stepp has and you may be right. Stepp has the best player in the region on his team in Cox, a solid bigman with size in Collins, a deadly shooter in his brother and some talented players who will never get out of his shadow. I could guarentee that if Gay had that to work with he'd have the same if not more success, Just as simple as that. I know he's get his team invold more.

Could you imagine if he got as much exposure as Stepp got?? Well I guess that could go for almost anyone in the 14th though.

This should not turn into a personal thing between Stepp and Gay. Both are very nice players that are really totally different type players. Stepp is a point guard that has a shot to play at a higher level because of the position that he plays. Gay is a very good player that will probably play at a smaller level because of his size compared to that of other people in his position. That is not to take away anything from either player but just how it works at the college level.
Stepp is surrounded by a tremendous amount of talent in Cox,Clint Stepp, Collins,and Trey Short who gets the least recognition of any senior in the 14th. Jbs would not have even made it out of the 14th last year without the play of Short who even though made the All region team doesnt get mentioned in some list because of the talent on the team that he plays on. I heard last week that Transy and Georgetown are at the top of this list of colleges.
