WOW!! I will be down there in a heartbeat! (I think this may be the closest CBC will ever get to eastern Ky because I don't think he will be doning any recruiting anytime soon.) Anyways it is really exciting to see Burnhart and CBC showing attention to the entire state.

Actually there are 2 potential recruits in the coming years out of EKY. Both Darius Miller of Mason County and Dakota Euton of Rose Hill have been shown interest by UK.

This is great to hear, one surgeon from Pikeville pumps alot of money into the programs at UK which could be one of the reasons they are showing such intrest here. This will be great publicity for UK Basketball in eastern KY. I like to see coaches get involved with the local rural communites of Kentucky not only that but getting involved with the FCA.

I have never really heard that Mason County was acually considered as eastern Ky (more northern I think) but yeah I will agree that Rose Hill around ashland is considered eastern. So thank you for informing me of both players. I really hope that CBC will be making more trips to eastern Ky in the future.

Yeah Mason is more northern, but they always get put into districts with Ashland, Russell, etc. so I tend to slide them a little bit more East than they may deserve.

We need to see how many BGR people are attending and should try to go out to eat or something. I know this would be a GREAT opportunity for alot of us in deep SE Kentucky to meet alot of the family.

Or it could be that a member of the UK Board of Trustees is a Pikeville resident.
Attorney Pamela Robinette-May is the current secretary on the UK Board of Trustees.

Tickets are $125 each...this is a fundraiser for the Eastern Ky FCA.

Also, there will only be about 250 tickets sold as the luncheon will be held in the ballroom.
