Observations: Elliott County is lucky to be in the game, much less leading, with that kind of performance from the field. If I'm a Valley fan, I'm worried about the Elliott County rebounding advantage (20-14) and the fact that Valley has zero second-chance points.

Valley needs to stop taking 3-pointers (1-for-8) and concentrate on working the ball inside, where they've scored most of their points.

I don't know if anyone else is listening to WDHR, but according to the announcers this is a very poorly officiated game, very lopsided in EC's favor.

I don't know who Jonathan Ferguson is, but Valley better stop fouling that kid.

And I'll say it again: Valley should not be shooting past 17 feet with that kind of outside-vs.-inside comparison (2/11 from the arc in the game, 4/6 in the paint this half after 8/12 in the first half). Work it inside and draw some fouls.
