14th region next season?
#1
sure this season isnt quite over with yet but i wanna know who everyone thinks will be the best in the 14th next season,bc a majority of the teams r returning A LOT of good players and the 14th should be very tought next season
#2
it really depends on where and if players transfer......not saying they will be the best but they will be a contnder will be jenkins.....jmo
#3

Yes Jenkins returns Puckett hes jus a jr this year
#5
Jenkins returns about 8 or 9 juniors. They have potential with Grimm, Wilder, as well as Puckett if they all stay.
#6
jbs and breathitt will be the frontrunners next year for the region imo. not far behind will be pcc, hazard, and buckhorn. the 56th district will be the most competitive next year with all 4 teams being in the pre-season top 10.

i agree with u....estill returns all starters besides berryman, owsley only loses the congelton kid, powell loses alot but has alot of underclassman to fill those spots, and lee loses around 6 seniors but has the underclass talent in charles and the point guard.......IMO the 56th will be interesting next year with estill taking the crown and powell being runner ups...in region if jbs keeps theyre team they will be 14th region champs next year IMO with pcc runner up

I think JBS wins it simply because they return all but 2 seniors and they have been one of the top this year. Especially if they win it this year they will no doubt be the Favorites. As for the most competitive district next year i would have to say the 56th. All four teams will be evenly matched and all are quality teams. Should be a slugfest for the district championship. I see Estill and Powell as the frontrunners with a very Close Lee County, and Owsley bringing up the rear.

who will win each district next year?

JBS
Breathitt Co
KCC
Hazard
PCC
LCC

Good Luck to the Pirates next year. Hope you 11 seniors have a great life

Where would they go??
#14
JBs #1
#15
JBS dont have a chance.
#16
I think next year will be exciting in the 14th Region.
if JBS keeps everyone they will have to be the favorite
Jenkins if they stay together will be loaded
Letcher Central will be really good especially if Puckett comes
Knott Central will be tough again
Breathitt will be loaded again.
I truly believe Cordia will solid with Zack Hurt, Eric Combs, Josh Mosley back.
Buckhorn will be right there again as well
Hazard & Perry Central will always be contenders, but PCC is crazy for letting Al Holland leave. He's the best coach in the mountains right now PERIOD.
#17
Hazard will struggle next year if they dont find anyone to replace Hicks or Williams. Somebody has to be their to shoot lights out like he did.
#18
I think the 14th will be very good next lead by JBS who returns Cox,Collins, both Stepps,Short and Hall. THey also have some young kids that have alot of potential to help next year. Breathitt will be very good with alot of kids returning as will Buckhorn and other teams.
#19
how about cordia ?? if they can get the players on the team and get them to stay bc they return hurt maybe taylor maybe noble mosley combs and a few more so they should be sum whut of a contender IMO
#20
my picks are
representing 56th-powell and estill(two best teams in 56th)
53-jbs and jenkins(possibly lcc or kcc)
54-pcc and buckhorn(possibly hazard)
55-breathitt and?????weak district(toss up between wolfe and jackson city)
#21
Powell out of the 56th? I hope not if so then that district is weak...they'll be terrible. Jenkins out of the 53rd....RU kidding? THey might never come out of that district.
#22
I'm going out on a limb here and predicting JBS as the frontrunner for the title next year. Dont they get everyone back next year???

powell will be contendors for the 56th next year and jenkins will be loaded next year
#24

Gosh, jealousy has made you have a serious illness. haha. JBS has a chance and you know it. Without Hicks, Hazard sucks!

Well im pretty sure they will be even with Owsley, Estill and Lee...It will be a down year for the 56th next season. All teams lost some very very good players. This year was probably the best year for the 56th in a long time. It was very competitive, and they were always good games to watch.
#29
If JBS returns all the underclassmen on this year's team I predict they go undefeated in the 14th region. Breathitt and Buckhorn will be very good but I honestly don't see anyone
beating JBS.
#30
next year will prolly come down to breathitt, jbs, hazard, pcc and buckhorn pretty much the traditianal teams
