I'm neutral to either school but I just saw the link on Myspace and I'm watching it as we speak.

All I want to say is make sure that nothing gets out of control. Do it in good fun and for your team. No one, from either school, should make it personal.

Pep sections are great!!

But PCC, why were you not as pumped during regular season games as you are now? Valley has been there for both the boys & girls teams for the entire basketball season. I'd say Valley will be stronger than ever before for this game--we've been called out, and we don't back down from a challenge.

When you all cheer for your team other than in district and region, you can officially call yourself a CREW. We had about as many fans at your gym as you had, but where were your fans the two times you all traveled to Valley this year? Oh that's right, you have artificial school spirit, you think it's there, but it only comes back every once in a while. You're not a crew, you're just a bunch of people who are a lame excuse for a crew, you aren't as crazy as we are, and I don't really care how many bodies you had painted at a game, WOO, show us during the season that you care about your teams and then, and only then,will we take you calling yourselves a crew seriously.

Shelby Valley has always had fans in numbers, they just weren't as spirited as this group of students, at least until tourney time like many schools. From what I have seen this student section is pretty amazing for the 15th Region. Let's also try to keep the CAPS off as well.

I don't think alfus was picking on you in any way because "he's a valley fan". Caps is unecessary for your entire post.

Shelby Valley has stuck behind their team this entire season, and they deserve to call themselves a crew by all means. I would love to see more schools like this in the 15th stand behind their team like the Blue Crew.

I wasn't meaning to be rude, and I honestly don't care who wins the battle of the fans. It is just hard to read. Sorry if that insulted you but it's just too hard to read for a lot of people.

I really don't care which pep section wins but I do agree that the award shouldn't go to a school with bad sportsmanship and that would be Valley!!! Very very unclassy!!!! I would also like to know what they mean when they chant YARD SALE???? Makes no sense!!!!!!

well I for one don't find it any harder to read , I could care less how people type. sometimes you can get caught up in writing and not notice it . I have done that before. and who knows what yard sale means, most of what they say don't make sense to me.
I for one don't really understand the boxing think I find that silly. They are very rude. you would think the school would not allow them to act that way.......NO CLASS BLUE CREW.
Its great to support your team you just need to get some class IMO

we all just need to calm down there is a diffrence between being passionate about your team and just arguing over stupied things...all pep sections are not to classey at times...for Example at PC this year the pep section chanted MC Embreeds or summthin to that effect i can not say that is very classey...Valley chants come unclassey things as well...but that will always come about...IMO we all just need to calm down and put it forth to tonight we are 7 hrs away...i hope both sides show class and come out it full force that is what makes these tournaments so great...good luck to both sides and remember do not say anything you could not say infront of your granny or papaw especially you PC...last year i and others tried to start a legacy of showing respect so take that forth to tonight make Mr. McCoy proud and the Hawk Nation by being bigger, better and more importantly CLASSEY...

I think it's a word people throw out there without really knowing what they mean by it. It just sounds like an insult to say someone has no class. Serious question - really wondering.

so you could assume that the meaning used in this case is the "vulgarity" a pep sections chants. Which would mean the behavior of a pep section lacks grace and dignity.

Pike central has been the PC -O- CREW since like 2000 , so I think you can do the math.
seems we have a copy cat , but its not central. when my cousin was at central his freshman year , they had shirts with that on it then ,and he is a senior at UK now , I still see some people wearing them at some of the games , I really don't know when it got started for sure, but I do know its been there since then.
