I heard the announcers talking and they said something about the refs, counting the basket and making a beeline to the door. I just thought that was odd.

PC played Sturgill a sophomore, and I don't know who else they put in at the end.. Sturgill had that one TO that allowed P'burg to get the lead.. But he shouldn't worry to much about it. He hasn't seen much if any PT this season. So I'm sure he had a lot of pressure on him, and he got nervous.

Snodgrass did injure his ribs in football season. I think it was when they went to breathitt in week 3.

But he showed a lot of heart and determination.. It sux that they lost, but what a way to go out.

Congrats once again to the Blackcats on a hard fought victory.

Yeah, people showed very little spirit tonite, partly due to the fact that we were divided from the upper to lower sections, yeah, we did say some things that would make a sailor cry, lol. Glad you couldnt hear us, those P-burg boys are pretty big, lol. but snodgrass has the heart of a lion, no quit to the boy. well Im gone, cya ya'll later.

So CTD they didnt have any freshman on the court in OT? due to foul trouble? And I could tell the boy didnt play much and I think Pburg realized that too...And put more pressure on him.....But thats the name of the game...well not really but you know what i mean

Hahah I know what ya mean.. and I don't know of any freshmen playing.. Just taht sophomore.. But I wasnt' there. That's just what I heard on the radio.

I thought the game was great. Basket was definitely good as I saw it and even though I was pulling for Prestonsburg I say this with all honesty. Refs took off from the floor as they always do in games of this nature and they don't normally hang around explaining to anyone about anything. Both teams played with alot of fight and determination and I respect that. The game with SV will be a good one. Saw some BGR people there and was glad to get to speak to them. It's nice to know you have friends in every crowd even though you may be fans of other schools.

man this is looking to be an excitiing regional tournament. good win for the blackcats. you guys did what it took to get the w. hope snaudgrass is alright. everyone is showing unbelievable heart to win this year. snaudgrass comes back after dislocating ribs. tackett comes back after needing stitches. coleman comes back in the 59th championship after dislocating his shoulder. these guys have heart, guts, and the want to win.

I gotta admit, I got scared when Moose fouled out, I thought PC would win when Pburg lost John Mark. But the boys kept fighting and played hard and came out victorious, Congrats Pburg. Now that my Tigers are out of it, I gotta pull for my buddies from Pburg, take it to Valley.

This game was an incredible game i was also there i looked for some BGR ppl but was unable to c anyone that was a diapointment. P-Burg played very sloppy tongiht could have been due to the excitment but idk. They are a very physical team and that realy set the tone for the hole game. The officating was horrible on both ends of the court. I thought the foul on Brad Lowe was a bad call and when Snoddgrass got hurt i thought that should have been called a charge but doesnt matter. Personaly looking at the shot i think it could have went either way, personaly if i was a ref i would have waved it off and let the game b decided on who could get it done in a 3rd OT. I thought the Hawks and Blackcats came out with heart and determination. The factor to this game was free throws which won the 60th district champ for the Hawks. They failed to convert when they needed them and lost this game. I will prob go to the Valley P-Burg game and will probley sit on P-Burgs side :-). Can some one get me a P-Burg shirt b/c one thing i hate worse is to c Valley play in the finals.

yes, the shot was good...PC gets unlucky 2 years in a row...good game on boht ends...somewhat sloppy for teh most part...a lot of heart was shown from both teams...but i must say...the blackcat cheerleaders were mean..lol...but really...crappy called game both ways...FAR too many fouls called...let 'em play ref!!! nad by the way, i wanna be a blackcat fan for a night too!!! lol
i HATE shleby valley....for pburg this is the game to win seeing as how bentley traded on them "to win a region title"...go get 'em black cats

Although PC was unlikely on this night, they were also lucky that they're catching the Blackcats in possibly their worst stretch of the year! Both teams played bad tonight, both losing 8-10 point leads in some point of the game, but that is the way it goes... you have to have respect for the effort PC put forth tonight... congrats to them on a great season.

and if u realy think about it ppl this makes like the 3rd year in a row that PC has had a game such as this remember Valley at PC in the regional tourny we tie the game Justin McCury fouls someone puts them on the line for 2 then Barry Sanders shots a runner and it rims out.

A great game to watch. But what you folks see as sloppy, is two teams playing very aggrisive defense. P'burg did a great job controling the ball #5 is a very good ball handlier and has some good moves and plays very in your face defense, #21 moves good in the lane with the ball and both have good outside shooting skills, #55 I thnk I heard him called "Moose" is a force to be delt with inside, good moves to basket, good position for rebounds, #33 someone said was sick, he looked weak, #11 can jump and rebounds like it's his ball and nobody takes his ball, #32 is so out of control at 200 miles an hour it throws the other team off trying to figure out what he's going to do when it dosent look like he knows what hes going to do, but he really hustles and you can't complain about hustle. Having seen Valley and P'burg it should be a good game if both teams bring their A games Friday night.
