#1
Is the Al Holland dynasty at PCC really over? If so why?

P.S. I know this would be considerd a rumor but, please BGR leave this thread open.Confusedhh:
#2
I am hearing the same thing.
#3
I also heard the same thing, i heard from one of the students at Hazard, he has been visiting up there but i also heard KCC dont know how much of that one is true tho.
#4
Al almost took the Hazard job last Season after Spurlock left but didnt. Wish he would have, Bailey might have come back to Hazard and then your have Regions best player Hicks
#5
These rumors are floating all over Hazard and Perry Co. and on the local message board. I keep hearing that he will be at either Hazard or KCC. I also have been told that he was at HHS a few days ago.

I have a friend that is close to the PCC scene and I believe Al is no longer the county AD but possibly may continue being the coach at PCC. He could be teaching at a feeder school in PE. I am sure we will hear many things but don't forget we need to be respectful. Big Al has done a great job in guiding this team for so long.

Why is Al Holland leaving? Is there friction between Holland and Amis? Could Holland be coming to Kcc? This ol' girl has heard a saying that most of the time has came to be true. If it's (KNOTT) broken don't fix it, Justin A. is doing a good job,I'm sure he loves working with the kids, and all team loves him. He's a very young coach and i feel he will make a good one, just give him a chance. And besides the COMMANDER inCHIEF,the SUPER SUPERINTENDENT HAROLD( ROMEO ) COMBS will not pay THE BIG BUCKS$$$$$$$ to get the BIG AL to come to Knott Co.

If David jeff wants him to he will.
#10
I cant belive that AL is leaving.
#11
Isnt this the first time that Al hasent been to the Region??
#12
No, PCC didnt go to the region last year, Hazard beat them 1st round of district!!Wink
#13
Big Al will succeed wherever he goes and with whatever he does. He is definitely a class act!!!
#14
I know everyone has been talking like Big Al Holland is gonna come to Hazard....but until Coach Morris steps down he has the job. He may step down after this season at which case Al Holland could take over, but IMO Morris is going to stay.
#15
I think he will be back at pcc
#16
i would love to see Al at KCC
#17
Heard he might come to KCC and be an assistant next season.
#18
That would be weird to see Al as an assistant, esspecailly under Justin A.
#19
I hope that he either goes to Hazard or stays with PCC. I think that Coach A. has done a wonderful job at KCC and he needs to stay and I think he will. Plus, Knott County dosen't have the money Big Al wants. Even if they did, I think that Coach A. should be our man.
#20
Big Al did not quit. This is a dumb rumor.
#21
I have also heard from A VERY GOOD SOURCE THAT he will not be back coaching at PCC next season! And I have heard that he will be trading in the red/black for blue and gold! And personally if this does happen, I hope he lays it to them every time they play!

Better words have never been spoken. When is the people in Knott co. going to wake up and realize that the commander in chief is the one that has destoyed the athletics programs in knott co. We would still be on top of the region is it wasnt for the CHIEF , the Transportation director and the one bus driver that keeps his nose brown from following the super around. gets rid of those 3 and KCC will prosper again in academics and athletics. They care nothing about KNOTT CO. just about lining there pockets.

Would hate to see this happen. He seems like a good person and is an excellent coach.

no i believe that Fleming guy from Emmalena is getting the Cordia Job lol
#27

I definitely don't ee this happening, Coach Holland has around 7 or 8 regional championships as a head coach so i can't see him becoming an assistant anywhere.

The scenario i have heard the most from the Hazard area is that at seasons end Bell County's coach will retire, coach Morris from Hazard will then head home to coach Bell County and coach Holland will take over the reigns at Hazard.

I have tremendous respect for Coach Holland as well as the administration in Perry County. I hate to see the rumored turmoil going on around the Perry Central program. I feel that both Coach Holland and Perry Central will continue their success even if not together. Let the chips will fall where they may.
