Anderson County-30th district Champs!!

Last night Anderson County shocked many people as they beat Shelby County at Shelby. This was the first time that Shelby had lost, at their place, in the district tournament in over 30 years. Even after Anderson lost many seniors last year, they have continued to keep schocking teams throughout the region.

That is quite impressive for Anderson County. Wasn't that the school Jimmy Dan Connors attended?

yeah!! I cant remember the exact years, but they were state runner ups his senior year.

1971 was the year and he went on to help guide UK into the final four where UCLA beat them in Coach Wooden's last game as a coach.
