Pick a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior for who in your opinion had an impressive year and you think should represent their class for player of the year.
Senior- Jamie Case, 10th in the state in scoring, averages 24.8 points per game.
Junior- Lando Slone, 20th in the state in scoring, averages 21.7 points per game.
Sophomore- Chandler Thompson, 13th in the state in free throw percentage, 82%. Averages 14.6 points per game.
Freshman- Elisha Justice, Currently not ranked statewide. But has really been a floor general for Valley.

well in the 13th region here is mine {around the harlan county }
sr- John Smith- was ranked as high as #1 n scoring got an all american nominee
jr-Desmond Johnson- 6'6 exiciting player plays like a guardand avg. double n come tourney time he kicks it up
so- Josh Caldwell- big guy is very tough down-low big country strong and is a little older than most sophs but hes dominant at class
fr-Scotty Sepe- he may not have had the best numbers but is a huge presence n JV avg close to double-double in less than usually 15 minutes and he has improved and still can he may not b the most athletic but he makes it known hes there

13th Region
---------------------------
Senior-John Smith,Harlan:very key to his team's success and Harlan wouldn't have won half the games they did win without him, gonna be dearly missed by the Dragon faithful
Junior-Desmond Johnson,Cumberland:Kevin Durant style player that has laods of potential
Sophomore-Josh Crawford,Corbin:I'd say a Dirk Nowitzki type player with great leaping ability and is gonna be a beast by the time he is a senior
Multiple freshman are worthy so here are my list of freshman-Cody Miller,Knox Central:Josh Whitaker,Bell County:Blaine Green,Middlesboro:Madison Johnson,Corbin

Hicks is best Senior in 14th and 15th
03-12-2007, 02:35 AM
well you all know im gonna say john van hoose was the best senior. averaged 20.2 points and 5.6 boards as a guard. russell obviously couldnt get the job done without him on the floor.
03-12-2007, 02:47 AM
Vanhoose is probably one of the best players in the mountains. I would take him against Hicks, Stepp, Cox, or anybody else.

i think that the 13th if u average over 10 pts at the competition is being a prime time player but you cant just go by points, rebounds, or fg% because you can find any ole player for that you have to have someone that makes a presence even if its not big but when they're in its a big reason of reign and theyre is only a few in the 13th,15th, and 14th region and most of them are from the 13th and they are frosh and sophs
03-17-2007, 11:01 PM
13th region is loaded with talented freshman.
