Huntington High Beats Capital for Conference Title 79-64
#1
Huntington High's #1 ranked Highlanders have realized something over the last two games. When you start your offense by going inside to Patrick Patterson, good things happen.

The 6-9 center scored 26 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to lead the Highlanders to a 79-64 win over 2nd ranked Capital. Malik Whitten and Tyrone Goard led the Cougars in scoring.

O.J. Mayo scored 23 points in his first game back since a three game suspension after he got two technicals in the first game against Capital.

Some 6-thousand fans watched the state's top two teams do battle.

Huntington High improves to 20-1 on the year and Capital is now 15-3.

The Highlanders next game is against nationally ranked St. Patrick's of New Jersey on Thursday night on ESPN2. Game time is 7:30.
