Thats about what I figured The only good teams Ac has playd this year is Paintsville and Belfry. They play Pikevile and MC their next two game both descent teams so we'll have to see what they against them.

I don't see how this proves it. Belfry is a good team I just believe that AC just has not played anyone this season. Congrats Belfry!

well i think its obvious Belfry is 3rd, maybe even second best in the region..
this is a big time win, coming into AC, and coming away with a W..

Congrats to Belfry on the win. Although they have a nice record, Allen Central just doesn't stand out as one of the top teams in the region IMO.

Yea I woud put Belfry at 3rd. No way they are above Paintsville or SV! AC is not an impressive win IMO!

I think Belfry & Paintsville are pretty even.. If they were to play, I'd have to pick the home team.. Paintsville dropped JC.. so, I wouldn't say they are clear cut No. 2 anymore

Although Paintsville lost, I dont think it should affect their ranking in the 15th. IMO, the Tigers and Shelby Valley are still the top two teams although this region is wide open. Belfry is a solid team but I'd still put them at 3.

Are you kidding me. If i'm not mistaken Paintsville just lost to a terrible Johnson Central team. So don't act like they are not even close. As a matter a fact Belfry is better than Paintsville. I've saw Paintsville play a few times this year and to be honest I wasn't that impressed. Obviously Shelby Valley is the team to beat this year but I believe Belfry if anyone has the best shot at taking them out.

good post...but allen central hasn't played the strongest schedule but everyone put them ahead of belfry. So they shut them up! Belfry travels to Johnson Central tuesday so well see how that goes. But easily said top 3 teams to beat is belfry, paintsville, and shelby valley.

Belfry only beat Johnson Central by 2 earlier in the year and lost to a sub par Lawrence County team last month. If I am not mistaken, this was Paintsville's first loss in the region as well.

they played lawerence without case..and if u can recall they crushed lawerence co by 20 actually was ahead by 30 and Randy Casey put his scrubs in..!

Wow....I didnt expect this...I thought it would be a pretty close game but actually thought that AC would win this one....I also thought that AC would be right there in the regional tournament making a run too but I dunno after tonight...I really really liked their team when I saw them play...Did they have a bad night or did Case just take the game over?....Thats why Belfry is good...They have a solid big man and Case can take the game over when they want...Congrats to Belfry...This is a huge win...I still think AC will be tough to beat come March as will Belfry

Yes, I think AC did have a bad night. Seemed like everybody on AC was running on empty. AC had a few players sick this week. I don't know if it finally caught up to them Friday night. The game was close most of the night. But Belfry outplayed them last night and came away with the win. If last night was an example of how Belfry plays everynight- I'd could see them beating Paintsville. Belfry's big man is definitely solid as you said. No one on AC could match up with Case last night. After watching him, I would consider him the front runner for POY in the 15th region.

Congrats on the win Belfry, you played hard and deserved it.

Good Luck AC, keep your heads up and keep playing hard.

GO REBELS!!

Way to go Pirates...

Congrats Belfry. AC was just wore down from the previous nights win againist P-burg and it showed drastically. But Belfry is a tougher team than I thought they were, they have alot of depth, they go about 7 deep and thats always a plus. Again congrats Belfry and keep your heads up AC!

Are you kidding me? Pville is clearly better than Belfry. The JC game was just a mishap and McCarty played a great game. Belfry is not as good as Pville, but that doesn't mean they can't beat them. Anyone can beat anyone in the 15th on any night but I would not say Belfry is better than Pville, and I hate Pville but you just have to give them the credit they deserve!
#27
As far as being war down its no excuse, Belfry went to Pike Central the night before and had a hard fought game. They both were a little tired, Belfry is just a little better and IMO a solid three, and I believe can match up with Paintsville if they are on inside game. Valley is the best, but anything can happen.
#28
Was the fourth of four games this week for Belfry...
#29
Every teams goal is to make it to state tourny, and when/if you get there you will play night in night out if you are winning(which is what you try to do)...SO i really dont understand how teams expect to use this excuse if they tire out so easily...
#30
Belfry wasn't tired though...so i dont see why we are having this discussion
