Pikeville 73 Johnson Central 58

Final.
Great game Pikeville. Refs let this game get way out of hand.
#2
Congrats Pikeville. What happened that the refs got it out of hand?
#3
Good win. When was the last time Pikeville beat JC???
#4
I said great game Pikeville. Alot of no calls by the officials ultimately leading to a double technical and alot of tension between the teams
#5
I changed my post, good win for Pikeville.

Where was coach Starns at today? The radio said Tommy McKenzie was coaching. I really thought JC had turned the corner lately but from the sounds of todays game they took a couple of steps back.
#7
who got the technicals?

It was a single technical against Boyd of Pikeville after Murray of JC was called for an intentional foul.

The radio said he played maybe his worst game all year. He had 12 in the 1st half but only 4, i think, in the 2nd.

Pikeville is starting to lock people down on defense like they did in February last year. JC was frustrated all day, especially McCarty.

Nice, you know, there's another team about 10 miles up the road that plays Pikeville this week that plays some pretty nice defense as well, I'd say the best D in the region.

Congrats Pikeville on a great played game. Finally shot the ball very well, even freethrows. Great defense. I agree that the refs let the game get out of hand. They called touch fouls the first half, then let it get way out of hand the second half. Pikevilles press gave Johnson Central alot of problems tonight. Johnson Centrals press pretty much give Pikeville layups off the dribble or passes. Both teams played hard, but tempers or frustration came out in the 4th. Good luck to both teams in the rest for the rest of the season.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

great win pikeville.....JC has a great team they really do...but they just need to pull it together...McCarty just needs to realize there are other players on his team that want to get involved...
