I think Paintsville will be too much in the end, but I hope Pikeville wins.

Pikeville is improving. When Paintsville played them at the first of the year, Pikeville was the most fundamental I have seen them in years. It is clear which team is the most talented, and who the favorite is, and I think it will be tough for Pikeville to win this game, very tough.
Paintsville by 15.

The game is a semi-final game of the All "A" [15th] Region -- it is held this year at Paintsville. The game is on Friday @ 6:30pm.

Paintsville by 10. IDK how many more games like lastnights it's gonna take for these boys to realize if they don't start playin like they do against the better teams they have played, they are gonna get put out early. Hopefully lastnight was was a wake up call.

I am with you on that one NECK. I think they will notice some urgency in winning, and finish this tourney off with strong play.

I think Paintsville would make a better representative for the 15th region at the state All "A", but I don't think I have it in me to pull for the Tigers...

I like the way Pikeville looked the other night, they are extremely quick and have some size that may cause problems. I'm not sure if they can shoot it well enough to pull off the upset. Should be exciting, Paintsville in a squeaker, <6.

As bad as I hate to say it, I am going to have to go with Paintsville again with this one. I dont think it will be as bad as some predicted though. Pikeville seems to shoot pretty good on those goals. Like was said in another thread, everyone brings their A game to play Paintsville. It might be a mild upset, but I dont see that happening. A couple players from Paintsville are way to protected in that gym.

Saw the first Paintsville/Pikeville game, and as long as one of the Tiger players doesn't get knocked out by an elbow to the head from the big man in the paint...then I say they'll pull it out by 15+.

I'll take Paintsville but, this should be a very intresting game.

With a bad ankle on the big man in the paint, even if Paintsville lost one they still should take it. The question is going to be if the refs that Paintsville gets for their home games will allow Paintsville players to grab arms and stuff after rebounds. A player is allowed to protect the ball from the other team you know.

If the officials will call the hacking and pushing in the paint...Pikeville by 9.
I would love to see consistant calls for ALL players.
The officials whistle should not be used to protect or handicap any player.
I've seen good players protected with touch foul calls and big men penalized for being at a size advantage by officials letting smaller players push, shove, and hack with no calls.

Are you trying to say Pikeville has the misfortune of having to play with "shaq rules"? I find that hard to believe.

Well if Paintsville plays like they did against SF then pikeville will win. Paintsville had 4 players around the 3 point line. Not one time did anyone one of them cut the middle, back screens, and the "legendary"coach just sit there w/ his head resting in his hand. These guys are way to talented to not have anyone coaching them.Heck they have 6 sitting there, at one time i seen 7 there tuesday night. J.D. is a good player but has no business under neath . The fergason kid IMO needs to be there. But i guess the "legendary" coach knows what he is doing. If anyone presses them there point guard (Paintsville) will try and dribble thru 2 and sometimes 3 w/ 2 of his team mates on the wings and he still try's to dribble thru them and once again the "legendary" coach just sits there. Hey just a thought here maybe you should sit at home and let someone coach these kids and take them to the state tourney, or maybe the "legendary " coach knows this and thats why he doesnt want to sit at home at this time. This is JMO.
