North Hardin
IMO Valley still has a fairly weak schedule overall... but this definately bumps it up a lot.

I think this will be a LONG weekend for Valley. The caliber of talent in the bluegrass region is far superior. You are not in the mountains anymore Toto.

I think it's funny that people dog Valley for not having a tough schedule and then make statements like this when they do play tough teams....

Shelby Valley can't win for losing it seems like. I thought that was ironic as well King.

because look at their schedule, sure, playing two good teams in the state is good, and needed, but thats not going to get the job done come tournament time, they dont even play top teams in their region, the best region team they have played so far being 8-5 Pikeville, to win your region, you have to play to the top teams in your region, you dont schedule David two times, why they dont have Paintsville, Phelps, Belfry and Allen Central on their schedule I dont know, thats why come tournament time these teams will be ready for the other top dogs, especialy Paintsville, playing not only in Florida, but against South Laurel, and Henry Clay

Hey guys I am not dogging Valley I am just speaking the truth. If Valley keeps either game within 10. I will take back that statement.

How many of the top teams that you mentioned did Paintsville play? I don't care about outta state teams. Unless Paintsville is playing the Flordia Gators, who knows what kinda teasm there playing from Flordia. Warren Central is just as good as any team Paintsville play. And by the way you play David school twice cause there in your district.

People who speak about basketball should at least know what they're talking about before posting things such as these. For the thousandth time, they play David because they are in the same district. Also, Allen Central wasn't regarded as an upper eschelon team in the 15th until well after the season began. In the Cats Pause Yearbook, they were ranked 10th in the preseason poll. Also, they did have Belfry on their schedule, but I was told Belfry dropped them because of too many games (this may not be completely accurate, but that's what I was told). One other thing, if Paintsville's schedule is so tough, why don't they have Valley on their schedule? Ever think of it that way?

FYI... Dunbar beat Henry Clay by 11 points...

Other than the teams from flordia that aint that much of a differecne between Valley and Paintsvilles schedule.

They're playing two ranked teams on the road in two days. No other team in the 15th has done that this year.
They have played 2 very tough 13th region teams in Bell and Corbin. And beat the then ranked #10 team in the South Carolina (Dorman) by 20 points.
David is scheduled simply because they HAVE to play them. If you don't even know that much about the 15th region you have zero right to bash a team and their schedules.
And it amazes me that just because people play teams out of state that they think those teams are far superior just because they are so far away. We know absolutely nothing about those teams in Florida, and Dunbar is ranked ahead of Clay, and Warren Central is ranked ahead of South Laurel.

Warren Central beat a pretty good Bowling Green team tonight by 35, so it'll be interesting to see what SV can do against a powerhouse of a team like Warren Central.
