who do you think is the best all around team in the KHSAA and why?
01-20-2007, 07:14 PM
I would have to honestly say JBS. They have the all around game with Stepp and Cox of couse and then you have the big man in the middle, good wing player in Short and of course the hottest three point shooter in the state in Clint Stepp. They are unstopable.
01-20-2007, 07:16 PM
And they are ALL back next year!
01-20-2007, 07:19 PM
Conley is a Sr.
01-20-2007, 07:26 PM
He rarely gets to play anymore..Was talking about him earlier to one of my friends. He has started for 2-3 years and hardly see's 5 minutes a game now.
01-20-2007, 07:29 PM
You are correct. He knows his role, setting on the bench.

I don't understand what you're asking. Do you mean who is the best team in the state?

Was thinking the same thing. If so it isn't JBS, no offense though.

if he does mean in the state, then its Scott County, but there are alot of good teams throughout the state, Warren Central,Mason County,Lexington Catholic,Male
01-20-2007, 08:47 PM
Yeah they cant figure out that their sarcasmn isnt funny anymore lol
01-20-2007, 08:48 PM
i think scott county is one of the top in the state though if not!
01-20-2007, 09:01 PM
They pretty much are, they beat Bryan Station by 14 last night.

JBS is the best team in the state to you?
01-20-2007, 09:43 PM
honestly i dont see jbs making it out of the region, if they dont play they wont even make it to the region, scott county has my vote right now, still undefeated by a kentucky team. but they will loose one.

Could be the craziest thing I have ever heard.

Scott County, then Mason Co., Lou. Ballard, Lou. Doss, Warren Central, S.Laurel, Bryan Station, GRC, Madison Central, Fairdale.

You think that JBS let Lex. Cathlic beat them by 18, and Trinity beat them by 29 so if they was to meet in the state tourney that they would have a false sense of security? How can you even "honestly" say that JBS is the best team in the state? What do you think would happen if one of the teams that beat those two teams played JBS?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

I'm just going by what Joe's boys have been posting on here, windmill, 3 points, Doc john, freethrow, picknrsometing, konan, all these guys make them out to be so good, I just assumed they were the best. My bad. Sorry.

JBS isn't even the best team in the East Kentucky Regions. They're probably not even a top 15 team in the state. Since you don't know then I'll let you know. Scott County. #1 team in the state. End of story.

because they are good, they can contend with any team in the state, they beat Doss in the summer, they played Scott to a good game in the summer, and I know guys, summer ball doesnt matter, so why should I say that, and they gave Mason County a very good game, who just beat the defending state champions by 5, JBS isnt the best team in the state, but they can contend with any team, and go ahead guys and call me stupid, rivalsking go ahead, but its the truth

Summer ball means absolutely nothing. They did give Mason County a good game. I can give them credit for that, but they also lost to two good teams(Lex Cath. and Trinity) by a combined 47 points.
There's a reason they're not ranked in the state by either Newspaper. They're not a top team in the state. End of story.

jbs is good in the region but outside of that not so much do you remember those tournaments out in lex. but jbs has a good chance to win 14th but that doesn't mean they have a good chance to win state.

I know man, it really doesnt, at all, and yeah those were two very bad games, you also have to look at the rest factor, they played until around 10 30 that night, and then played Trinity at around 12 the next morning, but that doesnt matter either I guess, and I know, but they could contend with any team in the state, I mean Pendleton County just beat Bishop Brossart, just because your not ranked in the state, doesnt mean your not a good team, and could contend with any team in the state, and Hazard had a loss to Paul Dunbar, that was a 45 point loss, in one game, and Hazard beat Madison and Lafayette, teams have bad nights, and Lex Cath and Trinity were the worst two games JBS has played all year

When you play in a tournament you're not the only team that gets tired, MAN. I mean MAN, all those other teams played two, three games also. The reason that was the worst two games they played was because that was two of the best teams they have played. Oh yeah, just wanted to remind you that if you still think summer ball means something (and you always do) Scott Co. beat you by about 70 in the finals of the AAU state tourny, but I guess you were tired and Scott was not.

actualy, mr i know it all, Trinity just had played 1 game to JBS's two, so yeah it does come in to play, and yeah that is true, but they also played them a very close game in an exhibition type game, and i didnt say Scott was tired or anything like that, and Lexington Catholic couldnt have been tired, because that was there first game, but what do i know, and King of all Kings I know, I mean who has said anything about beating big schools?

So your saying JBS could beat Lexington Cath., Trinity, and Scott Co. if JBS was fresh.
