The Future for Pike Central....
#61
TRUE......they have johnson central monday the 15th that can be a bigg win for them if they play like they did the other night. impressive
#62
Well... In my opinion... Even though they lost to Magoffin earlier this year, they still played hard. If they play with that effort, they should be okay for Johnson Central.
#63
If they play like they did the other night they should be fine.....
#64
I dont know... I kind of got worried there at the end. It was like 31 to 36. Nevertheless... i agree.
#65
i know wat u mean i5th.region.fan i got a little nervous also....but it was a great game to watch
#66
PC will be down when they lose ratliff next year, she sparks the team with her energy and leadership, dont see any1 stepping up in her spot
#67
agreed
#68
too bad we're talking about jv. ratliff is varsity.
#69
the future of Pike Central looks bright for years to come,Kayla Lowe will be a senior leader next season,Then you'll have AD,Abby Coleman,,K.Pennington and let's not forget Oliva Hamilton, who will be a force to reckon with, and B. Hatmaker as juniors, and the freshman Kayla Ratliff H.Thompson,H.Harris,Jamie Mullins this team will do just fine next season
#70

well wat does everyone think bout the jv game tonight i think that the girls hustled but didnt reall do well in offence but they can fix that eventually
#77
They hustled, I think
#78
does anyone know how williams is ? ........ I think they hustled, but I think they could do better I really think they have so much talent on this jv team even the girls who don't get to play very much imo if they would watch there passes, and look for the open man they would be a tough team to beat, but johnson central press was very tough for our girls to beat........anyone agree?

First of all Regan is supposed to send me a message and let me know how she is, she left to go to the hospital after the JV game to get her back checked out, so I will update you as soon as I hear from her. As far as the future goes, and these are just my opinions:
Jamie Mullins: Needs to quit trying to act like Allen Iverson, Joe Crawford and Ramel Bradley, in other words quit pounding the ball into the floor and try passing it first, I mean she is the point guard.
Regan Williams: Great Job tonight!! Played with alot of heart and determination before coming out of the game with the back injury. She is showing alot of upside, was the most consistent offensive and defensive weapon for that JV team tonight.
Taylor Murphy: Quit throwing the ball to the other team, don't try to be the point guard you are better suited as a forward. Being as this is only her second year of playing B-ball, she will get better. Keep up the physical play though, with time you will learn how to be physical without being called for so many fouls.
Savannah Fields: Stop with the attitude! She has so much talent and skill when it comes to basketball, but if you notice when she gets taken out of the game she will go all the way to the end of the bench away from everyone, when she should be talking with the coach's on what she can do to make things better for the team. If she can come to terms with her attitude, then she will be a great asset for the Lady Hawks for many years!
All the other girls don't really know too much about but I will go to more games and get back to everybody on them!!!

Ya, i agree with ya.

I have watched serveral JV games and those girls do not want to play team ball. They think they are in competion with each other. They was serveral of them just dibbling and not looking up the floor for the open post person and believe me they were open some. They need to set the ball up and run plays like they are suppose to. They might win a few games if they play ball right.
:yikes:

I agree with you on that, they have so much talent on the team , but they need to play team ball and not try to be the one to get all the glory. I really think murphy, mullins, williams, fields, blackburn, howell , robinson, meade, have it in them to be really good ball players if they will learn to play TEAM ball and the other girls I really haven't got to see them play very much so I don't know much about them....... I have noticed also what you said about savanna fields going to the end of the bench and having a bad attitude she acts alot like her cousin paige lowe imo hope she don't throw away her talent to it would really be a shame because the girl does have talent
#83
I don't think savanna fields has a bad attitude and she sure don't take after her cousin paige. She just didn't have a place to sit but a the end of the bench.

I think the JV team have alot of girls with good talent. They just need to work as a team. If they would do that i think they will alot of wins instead of losses. I think that murphy, mullins, williams, fields and blackburn play very good together from what i have seen. The howell girls needs to work on not carrying the ball i don't know about the robinson girl.

i tought fields skipped like 2 seats between her and the last player on the bench? which i dont think looked good to the coachesIMO,but i have seen the girls on the bench refuse to skoot down for the girls comming out of the game!
#86
Who cares about where people sit on the bench? In my opinion, if the coach wants you to go in the game, they'll put you in the game. I've seen girls who practically "glue" themselves (not literally...) to the seat next to the coaches, and them not get in the whole game...

Maybe Fields just wanted to concentrate on the game, and not on what others have to say. Don't think that people dont see girls on the bench whispering and chit chatting while the game's going on. Maybe she just wanted to sit alone, watch the game, and try to see what she did wrong.

All and all, I think all the girls did well.
-Mullins, she'll be alright. She was just trying to get the ball to the hole, get on the line, and score.
-Murphy...sure she gave the ball to the other team some, but at least you know she wasn't hogging the ball =P But seriously... she didn't do THAT bad.

YES, pike centrals JV has a bad habbit of not paying attention to the game IMO!
they are laughing too much from what I see.Mullins did good last night she played tough IMO.so did willams
