Phelps is for real. Nice effort for that team.

Sounds like a good game for both teams. Congrats Belfry and Phelps is showing that they can play with the top teams.

Phelps is not at all a bad team.. I don't know why people think that... Clay Campbell has these boys playing really well... Hunt & Gannon are excellent players... I think they should be right around 5th best in the 15th, IMO..

At Phelps...imo one of the toughest places to play in the 15th...
01-10-2007, 02:37 PM
Why in the world would it be one of the toughest places in the 15th to play??
01-10-2007, 02:45 PM
WOW What a game! JV was a good one too. Belfry got beat on the buzzer.
01-10-2007, 04:27 PM
Because they have a nice home crowd when Belfry comes to town...and traditionally it has been a tough place to play for ANYONE in the district and in the region..that was a compliment...not a derogatory statement..

I didn't take it as a derogatroy statement...LOL...... I just wondered because I cheered there back in the 80's..... and farther back than that I can remember an OUTSTANDING atmosphere in our gym.... Yeah.... any game at any given time or gym can get a little rough BUT... I love the crowd @ PHS!!!

Anyone know his name

Was it the kid who shot the ball at the buzzer during the Belfry/Phelps JV game?
If so, it was Brennan Smith. I am not sure of his # , but he is a good ball player.

Clay Campbell is a class act and has turned the Phelps program around by doing it the right way. IMO, 15th region Coach of the Year so far.

Congrats Belfry
