Cordia 57--Leslie 55
#1
Final
#2
Congrats Cordia. Close game.
#3
I wonder if it was a last second shot?
#4
no it wasnt a last second shot...Leslie had the ball with about 15 seconds left and got caught in a trap and they called a timeout...After that there was a lose ball with 2 sec left and # 34 for Cordia came up with the ball...it was a great game to watch...Cordia seemed to really mature through out the tournament...# 4 for COrdia was named to the All Tournament team as well as one Leslie Co. player i think it was the shoting guard...

great win for codia, they are gonna be a tough team to play against come tourny time, they could pull out a few upsets.

he didnt seem hurt when he played tonight unless ur talking about # 2 i think who has a cut over his eyes and has it patched up in which is last name is Mosley i think...but the rest looked to be healty...# 4 is sorta tall plays the # 3 spot on offence and drives alot...pretty good ball player i think if Cordia got a better coaching staff they would be a better team it just didnt seem like their coaching staff really knew what they were doing most of the time but they do a good job either way...
#8
congrats to cordia on the win

Congrats Lions, Nice to see the losing steak over with the big rival game against Kcc coming up tuesday.
#13
I actually think they will pull a W on the Kcc game

Leslie just ain't playing their style of ball. They aren't playing that hard nose defense they always have, they ain't pushing the ball up the court, and they aren't playing good offensively. I'm telling you that you will see a different team from now on.
#15
cordia got the w, good for them. but, they better watch out for kcc tonight. the pats are ready for a win.
#16
I hope Kcc is ready for a win since they are on a 7game losing streak
#17
Congrats goes out to Cordia.

Thats funny, Jeff Honeycutt may be one the best young head coaches in the mountains and believe me he knows what he is doing if you don't believe me ask Letcher Central about the district last year. Cordia will be a tough out come tourney time

idk i was sitting behind their bench and during timeouts and etc...he really didnt give them any insight as to what they needed to do when they were coming out of the timeout...and while the game is going on he stands there calls then play watches it and then doesnt really say much after that...i guess i may just not have seen something...

never saw the guy coach b-4 the tourney but i would say he is a better grade school coach just by the way he does coach...
#23
He was a great grade school coach, I think he lost 3 games in 5 years. If your team isn't ready to play I don't care what you tell them during a timeout. Practice is where coaching takes place, he can't go out there and shoot and play defense for them. Coaches have different styles and Honeycutt is not a screamer and doesn't pace up and down like some others, but watch what happens tonight against Knott and watch how his teams play during tourney time in March.
