I wasn't aware Belfry had dropped...they have been in the top two or three in the region for the past two years including a regional runner up and a regional semi-finalist..and they look to be in the same position again this season...they are sitting at 10-4 after playing a very tough schedule...

What was it, 8 or 9 times out of the last 10 years a 59th district team has won the region or come in second? Can anyone tell the last year a 59th region team wasnt in the championship game?
Toughest and Strongest are pretty much the same thing, right?
57th and 59th for me. 57th being first, of course.

I will have to say 57th. Cause every team in the 57th can compete with any team in the region.

I wouldn't go that far. Sheldon Clark isn't that good.

If they ain't that good why did they beat the 5th best team in the region which is PCC

Sheldon Clark isnt that good. They play hard, but they are down this year. As far as PCC I honestly dont think this team will be in the region. But Belfry def hasnt dropped to what someone said earlier. From every unbiased person I have talked to, even some people from Johnson County they have the best player in region. I have had a few coaches tell me that also, even some in the 7. But IMO 57 and 59 is close this year. I think I will give the edge to 57 because they have more teams that are above average than any district out there. Then 58th SV and Pikeville is both pretty good. Then I would go with 60, Belfry, Phelps, and PCC is all pretty good. I think with Case, Dustin May, Charlie Hunt, and Robert Gannon they have some very talented players.

I dont think that toughest and strongest are the same. The toughest could be the one with 4 teams that are second tier teams in it that are a step or two lower than a district with 2 really strong teams.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

Pretty much a tie in 15 Regional Championships. As far as toughest District it has to be the 57th. No game is a garrenteed win and all teams (5) are very competitive with each other. It is hard to say that you have the toughest Dist. when you have a David or a Piarist in your Dist. Nothing against those guys, cause they play their hearts out each time they play. But, they're just not even close to the level of the worst team in the 57th.

60th Belfry,PCC,Phelps.

Oh yea, my bad. I forgot about Sheldon Clark being down. But every other team can compete with any team in the region.
