Any parent giving a kid a ride. Thats safe. I know how it works. When it's time to go home, no one watches who picks you up, even for grade school kids. Thats safe.

So don't say anybody took him or gave him anything. He just got tired of the way you treated him. He is very smart and a good kid.
Yes he is a great person and a smart kid as is his whole family. He should be happy getting his 3 points a game off misses of everbody else. His love is really baseball. JBS has a top notch program in that. I wish him the best of luck in his future. The people in charge of his setting in front of the gym are no longer there. They are the ones to blame not us kids. 3points you know so much about JBS. Why was JBS calling him when he was enrolled in a knott co. school.

Not to tick you off playboy5. You guys don't like it when you lose players to LCC. Nowing they are being recruited.

That is a subject that I am not touching...Just the way things are..I am the Assistant Baseball Coach at LCC so I Could care less. If it would make a kid happier going wherever, then I say go for it regardless of who the kid is and what school they are going too! Who has Jenkins lost to LCC?

As a coach I understand your reluctance to speak on recruiting. But it does go on and it should be stopped. It is no where near as often in the publics because what do the publics have to offer. But the privates offer scholarships to college, parents jobs, and many other perks. This is why private schools and publics schools should operate completely seperate and not be allowed to compete against each other in state or public sponsered tournaments. Let the privates be exactly that PRIVATE

Safer than standing in front of Knott Central by your self. Besides the parents I am talking about are dependable, careful, and would let the kids parents know where they are and who they are with.

I know of kids riding out of the parking lot at Knott Central on the hood of the car while the teachers were putting out a fire in a trash can and breaking up a fight in the boys bathroom. Don't talk about safe.

You must remember at JBS they are all Steppchildren

Of course you don't that would be a rule violation. Calling kids and recruiting is against the rules of KHSAA.

Sorry but the kids are smarter than that.

It was a play on words

You are just guilty yourself, I know. Do you think people are stupid enough to think that public schools don't recruit.

No kidding, you got me on that one.

I believe the privates do recruit ten times as much as the publics do. because of the numbers Using JBS as an example less than 100 kids but all that talent in basketball but none in other sports. The other sports baseball, girls basketball are as they have been since the inception of the programs. The numbers don't lie. UHA,JBS, and many of the catholic schools have one program substancially better than any other program. Usually the ones with small enrollment numbers

windmill Wrote:Well you guys are being pretty stupid, JBS is seriously one of the best teams around, if either Lexington Catholic or Trinity came to the mountains, they wouldnt have a chance in the world, basketball is ALOT different in the city's then it is back home in the mountains, Lexington Catholic got all the calls against JBS, when JBS was up on them, the refs let off, they didnt call a thing, double dribbles, walks, fouls, stupid stuff, that didnt even happen, all you people do on here is down JBS, because they are no longer one of those teams like Riverside, and Piarist, they have shown that they are a threat, you guys always are on Stepps case, when he is one of if not the best ballhandler in the state, he WILL play college ball, D-1 ball, mark it down. All of you need to grow up and see that Stepp and JBS are the real deal, they will win the 14th, and they will have a good state tournament, people need to accept it.

im sorry did i miss something they got beat by 26 points if they got beat by 10 or less i might just believe you but 26 points can't convince me they the refs lost you the game and show some respect you should know more about that than anyone the refs have one of the hardest jobs in basketball they're going to miss some calls don't go saying they lost you the game

Don,t quite a few of the top officials in the 14 th have close ties to JBS. I won't name names but some still work there. And some recently have worked there. So I don't believe if I was from JBS I would complain about home cooking.

I find it a waste of time to complain about the refs, there is nothing you can do about it, and JBS don't get any help for sure and you know it.

Why not take a poll on the most protected player in the mountains. I would bet the farm on the outcome. I also noticed you didn't question my statement on JBS and ties to referees

Well the ones with any ties to JBS , don't call JBS games. If you are talking about the ones that had connectionds with ALC, they kill JBS So why would I mention any of them. I don't know who the most protected player is. I am assuming you are talking about Stepp, but that is not true. He just out runs 'em.
#85
Stepp gets touch fouls that no one else in the region gets

Who ref the Mason Co game. It is funny who fouled out, Darius Miller, who shot two free throws with a couple of seconds left hmmm, oh yeah Clark Stepp any more proof needed. Also the one of the ones with ties to JBS used to be the head of officials and don't even try to say they do not call JBS games. You have to give Joe credit he covered all the bases.I never said Joe wasn't smart

I have to agree with you JOBAKKA in regards to the officiating. Joe has them where he wants them. JBS will hard be hard to beat come tourny time, you better get a big lead if you want to win, because anyting close and JBS is going to get the calls and be very hard to beat. I know the officials you are talking about and his son should not be allowed to ref any JBS or even district games.

If you are talking about Allen, he has never reffed a game for JBS and the other one you are talking about never gives JBS a break.
#89
How far does the influence carry. The other one just gave the Mason game to JBS. You are forgetting about a couple of others
