Nice bounce back win for the Panthers. Getting 2 wins without their best player is as good as could be expected. Lets hope Mr. Honaker recovers fast. They need him on both ends of the floor.

Congrats Pikeville.

I only saw the second half of the fourth quarter but man the refs were rough on the Austrailian team from what I saw. They got hacked to death. But thats basketball and Pikeville got the win and thats all that matters

I doubt if a team from here would get many breaks down under!!

I just think the refs should call if 50/50. But I know life's not fair. It'd be different for a questionable call. I understand if there's some confusion to give the call to our side, but when you can see the players getting hit on the arms or even knocked over on shots, you have to call that man. We probably wouldn't get the calls if we played there but I'd be saying the same thing I am now only the other way around.

As far as the refs goes, I think to many fouls were called. There was 42 called in the game on both teams. Not a chance of getting in any type of rhythm when you have to stop play ever trip down the court.

Well tell the boys to stop fouling.. Its not the refs job to keep the rhythm going.. Half the problem seemed to me is Pikevilles players were getting beat down the floor by the Aussies, and were having to ride them to keep them from going around them... The Aussies were alot quicker than Pikeville..

The fouls were pretty even, I think it was a 2 foul difference in the teams. It wasnt that they were really fouling, but ever touch was getting called.

What??? Stick to football...you are clueless. Do you even watch the games?? Pikeville(without Honaker) 60 Aussies 56.....Belfry (Full strength) also struggled in beating them by single digits as well and only led by 1 point late in the game!!

Australian team played very tired today....their coaches even made that comment after the game..good win for Pikeville..... Blackburn had trouble making easy shots today..#8 didn't play as well as he had during the rest of the tourney...the officials called the fouls because both teams were fouling!! Nothing more...nothing less...

The only thing I have figured out is you want to try to start something and get people talking then say that is all you are going to say. When it sounds like you dont know what you are talking about.

It sounds like you are trying to say that people who work at Belfry was telling the refs to let Pikeville win. Does that mean that at Belfry the refs are controlled by school personnel? Statements or even trying to make statements like that takes away from wins that your team makes if the teachers/coaches can influence the officials in a game.

Well, the name you mentioned wasnt on either teams roster. So what exactly was you trying to say and how did the person you mentioned help Pikeville to win? Why didnt that person help Belfry to win Belfry's tourney?

What about the Milwaukee team that had Pikeville down 47 to 20 at the end of the third. Pikeville 20 points in three quaters. WOW. Pikeville (FULL STRENGTH) beat Belfry by 4 and Belfry shot 0-21 from the three at Pikeville. Pikeville had some help in that tourney. They had 2 refs (the Hall bros.) that hate Belfry and Coach Casey and Bogar the thrid ref which gives Belfry no calls.

NO. It means we had 2 out of state teams playing in Belfry's tournament. Which the refs have no chance to go there and call a game. So they give the 15th region teams a break hoping to get more games to ref from those teams. If they call a bad game against Pikeville or Belfry these teams have the choice to put them on the X LIST. So in my opinion, the refs did a good job in calling all the games.

When you go on the road you expect the home team to get the breaks on close calls...that's basketball...on ALL levels...NBA ...college...high school...

Yea, I know what you mean now about Pikeville getting breaks to win. That is why there was only 22 fouls called on Pikeville in the game compaired to 20 against Aust. If they wasnt looking out for them, Pikevilles whole team would have fouled out. Even Boom Boom.
