Magoffin Co. 73 Somerset 61

Magoffin Co. defeated the Somerset Lady Briarjumpers today in the Daytona Beach Sunshine Classic.

Magoffin Co. will take on Warren Central of Bowling Green, Kentucky tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

Ashley Jade Howard finished the game with 33, Brittany Manns 17, Michaela Howard 10, Ashley Hall 8.

Way to go Lady Hornets!!!!!

What is the point in goin all the way to Florida to play teams you can play any night right here in Bluegrass State.

Ah, atleast they get a lil bit of a vacation I guess, but I would rather play some tougher competition.

No idea why the organizers did it this way. Tourney's almost all Florida and Kentucky teams.

Elizabethtown girls lost 64-57 today to a local team --- Spruce Creek, ranked #4 in Florida's Class 6A.

Brittany Manns was the Tourney MVP. Not for certain of the total points for tonight, but I was told by Asst. Coach Gary Helton that M. Howard had to have had at least 30 rebounds in the game.
