IISnakE Wrote:What was wrong with Ashley Howard? She left the game and went to the bench and then I'm not sure, but it looked like she doused some poor lady, behind the bench, with water. I was watching the game, but caught that out of the corner of my eye. (maybe I saw it all wrong) Annnd speaking of water, why did some Paintsville parents and fans have to buy bottled water for the Paintsville girls towards the end of the 3rd quarter? I thought those sorts of things were provided. I did like the guy on the P.A. system with all the traffic/illegal parking updates! Congrats MC on the game.
Did Paintsville's staff even approach the Magoffin Co. staff to inform them that the water cooler was out? NO, I know for a fact they did not. The guy on the PA system was the Atheltic Director and he would have been more than glad to have gotten them some water if he had known.

Nope. I doubt if they did.... some of the little girls, who play elementary school ran over and said they needed water, so we all just gave them money to take care of it. I'm sure this guy would have, but he was a little busy and there was all kinds of stuff going on at that time. How do you all get your AD to do the PA....? I guess if he wasn't doing that, he could have kept tabs on the water or have gotten someone to do that for him. That is one of his responsibilities.

All Mark would have to have done was tell the AD; he knows the AD well; and Magoffin always does their best to provide the best hospitality; and yes alot was going on; with the traffic problems;

:thatsfunn Yeah, by taking Paintsville usaull pep section area away, or by sitting half of Magoffin County's fans on Paintsville's side of the reserved seating. If I'm not mistaken, that is why schools have TWO sides in their gym, one for each teams fans.

Painsville really doesn't have to worry they only have one side of a gym.

Every team deserves there right to host districts, I know it is not fun when that place is jam packed. But I truly respect the Paintsville program and I think it is said with all of there tradition they can't get a new gym. Maybe until Paitsville upgrades they could host it at Johnson Central, and let Paintsville work it and get the proceeds.

yes...I know they deserve their rights but they was talking about selling our seats to our fans and another one said something about a cracker box so I was just posting my opinion about districts...

There was talk about a new gym at Paintsville a couple years ago, don't know what happened to the idea. There are two sides at Paintsville, there's room for about 100-120 people on the stage bleachers. IDK why people complain about playing at Paintsville, it's not as hot as everyone makes it out to be for one, and two, it's the loudest gym in the region when it's a packed house, atmosphere is amazing.

Worst GYM in the District!
12-19-2006, 03:02 PM
If you ask me MC has the worst seating in the District......Come on....selling reserved seating......if you want to sit by certain people who show up after you or before you it's almost impossible by the way they sell the seats.....Ridiculous.......Reserved seating......Why can't they just sell the lower seating for the five dollars and let you sit there where you want......if they sell all the seats fine what's the difference and why place people in certain seats.....come on no matter how much you want to be you're not a college.....

It really just depends on your taste. If you just want to watch, then go somewhere else, if you want "The expierence" Then come on over!

NOT a wooden seat in Paintsville's gym. Speaking of HOT. MC's gym was twice as HOT as Paintsville's. It was misserable! When BMR came out the door after the MC game he even said that it was hot in there. Now that's HOT, if BMR thinks so! LOL! :devilflam

HAHA! No, everyone always complains how HOT it is at Paintsville and what I'm saying is that it was much much HOTTER at MC that night. It is what you call "IRONIC" for him to say something like that, considering how hot he keeps his gym! Rather funny I thought! LOL!!

So if BMR said it was hot....then it must have been real hot. Understant now?
