Pikeville Vs. Paintsville
#1
The Panthers host the Tigers this upcoming Tuesday, who get's the W and who get's the L? I'll take my Panthers in this game by 5 or less
#2
Paintsville by about as many as Pikeville beat them in football....
#3
Paintsville by 10

From watching the Panthers play tonight, I think they can cause Paintsville some trouble with a few things, however I see Paintsville winning this one by 12. The big kid for Pikeville needs to play aggressive in this game for the Panthers to have a chance. Should be a good one.

Pikeville's big guy should cause Paintsville some problems if he plays well. Paintsville's biggest weakness is lack of a big guy and rebounding. But the Tigers try to make up for it with hustle, box outs and jumping ability which works somewhat. The Tigers are a run and gun type of team, don't like to set up plays anymore than they have to. If they are hitting they will blow Pikeville out of the gym, BUT it isn't likely that all players will have their A game. And since Pikeville is a fairly good team this year and are playing home, I'll say Paintsville by 10 or more.

Pikeville can't score with the Tigers, Paintsville by 15.

I think this game will be within 5 points, unless a team fouls late in the 4th hoping for missed free throws. To say Pikeville cant score with Paintsville is a bit of a overstatement. Pikeville played them down to the wire this summer with Paintsville winning by 1 on a foul with no time on the clock. This game is being held at Pikeville. Pikeville's attitude is they can not only play with anyone, but beat anyone might be more than Paintsville can handle. Either way, I bet it will be a hard fought game by both teams. Neither team will get a double digit lead. In the end I am going to say Pikeville by 4.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

Pikeville has a scrappy team with a developing big man. But i think Paintsville will be to much for them this early. However watch out Paintsville if you meet Pikeville in the regions.
#10
paintsville is tough but i cant go against the panthers!!! Pikeville by 1...I see pikeville jumping out early but paintsville regaining the lead and i think pikeville will be able to drive and score late top claw back in it...paintsville couldnt hit the clutch free-throws against pikeville in all-a a couple years ago so i take pikeville by 1
#11
Ill take Paintsville by 18
#12
pikeville by 3.

I like the way Harmon plays for Pikeville, he's an exciting player as well as their two little guard an Honaker but their big guy is WEAK, he's 6'10 and I seen him get his shots blocked at least 4 times against Clay by guys who were barly 6 feet tall, He definitly will hurt Paintsville at all with his size. Grimm is way too Physical for him. Also I don't see anyone stopping Slone he's just too gifted offensively and he'll be a tough matchup for PikeVille. With that being said I'll take Paintsville by 13pts. Pikeville is a top 5 team IMO though.

I've heard an awful lot about this Paintsville team early on. They have proved that they can play with "the big dogs" a few weeks ago in Lexington...so I'll probably make the trip over to the Pikeville gym to watch this one. I say Paintsville by 12.

Im going with the upset, pikeville by 3
#23
Last second bucket gives the Panthers a victory!!!!

Panthers-65
Tigers -63
#24
I'm going with my Panthers by a few points in a good early season game.
#25
The more I think of it, Paintsville in a rout.
#26
This game will come down to the last quarter
#27
Any big man in the region or state will pose of match up problem for Paintsville, but on the other hand which of the 5 is the opposing big man going to guard. Paintsville will also cause other teams match up problems. Take for instance tonight at Pikeville the big kid in the middle will cause a match up problem, but who is he going to guard.

Paintsville By 25
#29
paintsville by 21

If Paintsville has a halfway decent night shooting the ball, the big man won't be a factor.

I say Tigers by 15+
