It was a great game tonight, a whole lot closer than everyone thought, first half was equal but Steppe come out in the second, held to 3 but ended up with 21. Cox was as solid as usual, making the big shots, Colllins was just changed the way lcc shot in the paint and it really hurt them. Early fould trouble hurt the cougars at first, but still played very well.To me if could have went either way, just costly mistakes at the wrong time. But LCC is slowing changing everyones minds about how well they can play.

If your going to say it was a closer game because JBS didn't play good you are wrong. They hardly missed any shots during the game and Cox played great as well as Steppe, he just got smart the 2nd half and started driving and making his lay ups, just admitt that LCC is better than everyone thought.

I agree, 1st of all Congrats to both teams, LCC way to keep it a close game...closer than i thought it would be but LCC is for real this year and better than a lot of people think...That district is up for grabs there are some really tanleted teams in it KCC,Cordia,and LCC.

You mean that LCC played their best but JBS didn't right. Collins scored more points than he had in earlier games and didn't cox get his average number, Steppe may not have but he didn't shoot as much as usually does. If you want it to be like that, Sexton didn't have any points and has averaged 15 a game, Banks got into foul trouble early and hurt the game, so LCC might not have played their best.

Stepp had a stomach virus and Conley didn't make his shots. Clinton Srepp didn't hit his threes and Cox had 2 fouls in the first quarter. He had a three taken away when he got fouled and they called it on the floor. I think they could have played better, but they won any way.Don't take me wrong, LCC played a good game but every body has their troubles.

did u ever think that maybe LCC's defense had something to do with Conley not making his shots, and not allowing the little Stepp to score....you must not have been at the game to still think that LCC played their best....it was far from it

Congrats to JBS for winning the game. Even though if JBS was the only team ever not to have all players 100% for a game. If they was, it would have been a blowout for sure. All the same, congrats on the win. It seems like you would be happy about getting a "W". But it seems like some from JBS isnt.

JBS was very happy with the win, LCC has a very good team. Both teams played well.

They had 100%, Clark was in good shape, just tired from not getting a break the whole night, most people do get tired without one, so it wouldn't have been a blowout, for sure. LCC can just compete with them, no excuses, it's a fact after the game, JBS might be better, but they are beatable.

They were ready to play LCC without Stepp. They didn't know until they went into the dressing room that he was going to play.

Right, and the sight of him being able to play boosted their morale. Blair and Hogg played the whole game because of Banks' foul trouble. So circumstances balance out over the game. Can't wait to see round 2.

They were ready to play without him. Circumstances didn't balance out. JBS beat LCC.

Without him, they get beat. They have no other ball handlers to take up the slack. If he gets in foul trouble throughout the year, the weakness will be evident. Teams will press them. If Cox handles the ball it takes away his spotting up for shots.
